I have been a customer of CD One Price Cleaners for several years. I loved them until today and now they have lost a customer for life. I wear a suit every week day and have for many years. The convenience of same day service and great prices is what attracted me to CD One Price and kept me as a customer. I go there once a week and picked up my dry cleaning yesterday. When I went to put on a shirt this morning, it was heavily starched. I never starch my shirts. I verified my receipt said Starch: None. I stopped by the Lombard location this morning to get a refund and my shirts cleaned again. They offered to clean my shirts or a refund but not both. No consideration of my time in having to make a second trip to drop off in the same week and a separate trip to pick up in the same week. Then she even said she would have to examine the shirts to make sure they were actually starched. I have been wearing dress shirts for over 10 years; I think I can tell the difference. I told her that if she wouldnt assist me that they would lose a customer. She said she could not give me both requests. I told her that they would then lose a customer that spends about $130 a month over $5 in shirts. She didnt respond and I walked out. It wasnt as though I brought in a stained shirt and they couldnt clean it. They starched a shirt that was not supposed to be starched. The blame is all on them.

It used to be a great place, but I dont feel the same way recently. I have especially hard time dealing with an Asian woman there. She always has a strange attitude. I know it is a corporate store, and this is the only reason I like going out of my way to this store. Previously I have had issues with other franchise stores. So if anyone in the corporate office reading the reviews...please keep good stores good and keep bad staff members out of good stores.

I took in a suit and a pair of dress pants to have them cleaned, and they removed the cuff from both pants. WHY? the cuffs were stiched in. I have had no response from the company and had to pay a tailor to put the cuffs back in. Plus they did a horrible job pressing them. Go to a good dry cleaner, they may charge a little more, but they dont ruin your clothes.

I would give more Stars but there are few issues, one they have their clocks set 12 minutes ahead so get there early. Weekends the staff is light need more help. Prices are going up lately ? 4 shirts 7 dollars?

My coat is still dirty. I ask why am I paying for services if services were not given for whatever reason. No answer. Bad business. Bad services. My 3 year could have done a better job. Never again

This location is one of the best. The clothes are always (Always) done when promised. The service is Always done with a smile. This is a great location and the pricing is "Ohh" so Affordable.

Really good cleaners. Clothes were ready on time. They even provided a free laundry bag for bringing clothes to the cleaners. Staff was very polite.
