I started with IPC they day I became a plumbing apprentice. The knowledge and dedication of the instructors is top notch. Not only did we study the code book, work on drawings, and build the practical projects every semester, but they also brought in state inspectors, Pex piping specialist, and people from the copper institute in order to better understand and work with the materials we see every day in the field. I went down state to take my plumbing license test last week and after 2 mock exams and hearing about what to expect from others that took their test durring my 4 years with ICP I was as prepared as I could be. The most nerve racking and difficult test I have ever taken Im proud to say that I passed my first time with a 85%. When talking with others that where taking the test downstate before the exam started I did not meet one other person that had not failed it already. I can say with 100% confidence that if not for my time in ICP I would not have passed. Proud day for me and I owe my career to this school and the support I receved

I completed 4 full years of the IPC APPRENTICE TRAINING PROGARAM. WIthout this program Im not sure how else I could have been better prepared to take my ILLINOIS STATE EXAM. The state exam has an alarming 1st time fail rate and it was a "personal walk through the park" with the preparation I received at IPC as I score high and passed my exam on the 1st attempt. All inclusive studies from the code book, to plumbing plan drawings, to practicals shop projects, and the EVER IMPORTANT MOCK EXAMS. I learned more than "how to take the test" but how to be a more prepared professional. Ive seen the new classroom facility at Mchenry and if blindfold you could mistake it for a college lecture hall. Should be great for the students. Joking aside the instruction team must have nearly a 500 yrs of field experience combined. Ive also gain my continuing education credits through IPC and with 2 locations, Mchenry and Rockford, I always find a convenient time to fill my requirements.

When I started the IPC training program I was completely green. I knew nothing about plumbing. Needless to say I was not very confident in class. I completed 4 years of the program while serving my apprenticeship. When it came time to take my state exam to obtain my license I walked into the test facility with the swagger of a seasoned veteran. I passed my exam on the first attempt. Even though I found out the night before taking the exam that my wife was pregnant with our second child. I was distracted but able to focus and succeed with the exam because of the intense preparation of the program. Not only did I learn in class but I also found a sense of pride in working towards becoming a licensed plumber. I earned that license and Im able to provide a great life for my family because of it. But I would never would have gotten it without the program. I truly am grateful for it.

I move form California to Chicago and had to learn Illinois plumbing code. They are far different and more complicated then the codes governing California. The Illinois Plumbing Consultant School (IPC) really help me to understand these codes and prepared me to take the Illinois Exam. They will also teach you how to construct practical project that you will have to take during the exam, how to work with a variety of plumbing material, and how to design plumbing systems. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and they provide you with all the tools and essentials you need to be a successful Licensed Plumber. Thank You Guys

I would like thank The Illinois Plumbing Consultants Institute (IPC), which had the most important role in preparing their plumbing students and helping them strive for success. Without their assistance, I do not believe I would have passed my exam. Especially not on my first try. I would like to thank my instructors John, Joe, and Adriana as well, who help me pass my test successfully. I finished with the final grade of 80 percent. Despite my four year apprenticeship and experience, I dont think I would have been able to do this without this class. Thank you all . KEVIN

There is not a lot of help out there for plumbers that need test prep. I am so glad I found IPC, because they were able to give me the tools, and more importantly, the confidence to take the state exam. Happy to say that I passed the first time......no way would I have done that without their help. The convenient part for me now is that they offer continuing education courses now so I can keep in touch. Not only are they cheaper than most, but they actually teach something rather than putting on a commercial.

This class taught me a lot that I did not know about the trade I am pursuing. Not only did it cover the Illinois plumbers code but it gave me hands on experience with almost all of the different materials used everyday in the plumbing trade. I would highly recommend this class for anyone looking get into plumbing or to gain more knowledge of the trade. The instructors were very well versed and held the class together very well

I have done continuing education class through other companies although the price was a little cheaper, the four hours spent was used to try and sell me on products. Using IPC the last three times I have actually learned about new plumbing codes tips and tricks of the trade and left the class with more knowledge Then the little green book had ever given. I will definitely continue to use IPC in the future.

Excellent school. educators are top notch. Have a great amount of experience & will have you well prepared for the IL plumbing license test. I highly recommend that anyone who wants to pass the test & have some practical knowledge about plumbing take this class.
