We purchased a new furnace /air conditioner from Buchners about 6 years ago. Have greatly appreciated the professionalism, honesty and overall great service over the years and highly recommend them to anyone. The technicians are all honest, efficient and friendly and I have confidence in their expertise and I trust them completely in my home. However, a perfect example of a reason to use Buchners is Chris. Recently I have had a few issues with components of the furnace which have been manufacturer related. I spent some time on the phone with the manufacturer with no success but Chris went above and beyond to go to bat for us not really known to us and helped recover the untimely repair costs. Just received an unexpected call from them about this and was so very appreciative of their exceptional customer service. This type of commitment to customer satisfaction and service starts at the top and is received from all who work there. Thank you Buchners!

Our point of sale guy, Sean, was a total pro. I dont think any HVAC company knows how to appropriately use tech tools better than this one. Sean answered every question, followed up at every juncture, and even checked in on the progress. I received a profile of the team doing the work - I was provided muliple options - and never felt any pressure. I just felt thoroughly informed. I was totally impressed. Today, they came and replaced our furnace, a/c, and water heater. Rob, Jessie, and Mike are who people are talking about when they use the word "professional." Punctual, efficient, willing to do the job right - even when its a pain in the butt to take the extra time and steps. They treat your house like its their house. Hard working men who do the job right the first time, and have an eye for detail. Thats who youre hiring.

Buchners Plumbing has always been reliable. We needed to upgrade our toilets and add grab bars to accommodate my wife. Called and scheduled a time for TIm to come out and give us an estimate. He arrived on-time, took care of everything and got back to me with a complete estimate. On the day of installation, Tim arrived on time, completed all of the work without a break and when finished, you would have never guessed that we had a plumber in the house today. Everything was clean and finished. Had issues with attaching grab bars (my walls) but ended up with the perfect solution. Buchners Plumbing has never disappointed me. Awesome to say the least. AC died on tuesday. 2 different techs were out both very professional and knowledgeable. Needed new ac and furnace. On friday we met with salesman. Salesman was professional, knowledgeable as well. Did not even attempt to over sell us. Set us up with exactly what we needed. Was quoted @ 8 hours for the install today, (wednesday), told work i was going to be late today. Install team arrived when they said the would, and finished in 6.5. Made it to work on time, (damnit :D). Buchners is great. Seriously outstanding, start to finish. If you are having troubles or need a new hvac system, call them you wont be disappointed. Only regret is that i didnt call them sooner.

Honesty is not an easy thing to come by these days. I know that they are always telling me and advising me truthfully. They are not trying to make a quick buck or pull something over on the customer. Our air conditioner wasnt working after the winter. I called Buchner and they came out and discovered a mouse had chewed thru the wires. They replaced the wiring and during the pressure check noticed we had a leak. Since the air. Conditioner was 12 yrs old I scheduled an appt for a new one. I compared several companies and went with Buchner based on pricing and presentation. We are not disappointed! The installation was extremely professional and they explained everything they were doing.

Absolute best service hands down. Not only did these guys accommodate us with getting our A/C and furnace installed asap, they were very friendly and helpful with the whole process. They did a very thorough and quality job as well. They also answered lots of my questions and were a pleasure to deal with. They even hooked up my standalone dehumidifier drain pipe for me (nothing to do with the service they were there fore). Thank you guys!

The Buchner team, headed by Mike, did an excellent job. They were punctual and installed my new heater and AC with great competence. Mike took time to explain the new thermostat, which can be set up and operated via smartphone. The team also cleaned up thoroughly, hauling off my old HVAC equipment. Finally, the company filed the necessary paperwork for rebates with ComEd and Nicor.

Today I called to schedule an appointment with this company because I do not have any hot water. The only time that I am available is at 330pm. The lady on the phone told me that is considered after hours and would cost me $40 more for a diagnostic. That is some complete bs. I called a different company and they were able to schedule me right away without charging me extra.

Jesse came in and suggested that the problem was caused by the control board, not the coil. He replaced it quickly. The company and the crew were very professional and knowledgeable. I had air duct cleaned in a home I recently purchased. its an older home and first time having air ducts cleaned. the amount of dust and things that got removed is unbelievable.
