This one about sums it up!!! Facilities are poorly equipped. They have only 2 flatbed carts for the whole facility. Those who have no choice but to have storage units far across the other side of the building rely on these and half the time none are available. If you visit your storage unit after the main office is closed then you cannot use a flatbed cart because they are cabled/locked to the wall at all times and you wont be able to get a key. There is no drive up access to the gate so will need to constantly get in and out of your vehicle to enter and leave the property and it is not 24 hour access as listed in the "Specialties" above. Hours are 6am-9pm only. They have no security measures to ensure the safety of their customers. No facility cameras or security code for the elevator are implemented. Someone can climb over the fence and have uninhibited access to the whole property. Property is dark and dank. Dont store anything that is susceptible to any moisture. Then lying to your customers that YOUR insurance has to be purchased before renting a unit is completely fraudulent. This company is already having legal trouble with this in California. Google it and dont fall for this deceptive practice. I brought my own disk style lock. As the reviewer "Marcus" has stated they will make you purchase one of their overpriced locks. They will even look over your lock to find a flaw so they can get you purchase one of theirs. I canceled my storage unit the first day I rented it do the hassles and dishonesty of how the facility is managed. Avoid this company! • • •

I didnt know what storage place I should use. After looking online I chose this one. Sam was the one who signed me up. She took the time to go over everything with me. All with a smile on her face. She walked me to my unit and showed me where the carts were for moving heavy things. I had to come back a couple weeks later and was having trouble getting my lock off. Sam took time to walk to my unit and help me get the lock off. All the time with a smile on her face. I am here today and she remembered me and came to help me with the lock. She even remembered that I hadva neck brace on last time I was here from having surgery. I no longer have the brace on and she asked how I am doing since the surgery. Its the small things that make the world a happy place. Sam went above and beyond her duties. I will recommend Public Storage to any and everyone. Great job Sam!! And thank you so very much.

Setting up the account was easy. Move-in: was given a room on the second floor. When moving in the elevator to the 2nd floor was out (after calling and telling the management that the elevator was out it wasnt fixed). Also there was a 4 foot wide block of ice that was at least 6 inches thick blocking the door to the stairwell so it couldnt be opened. The ice was obviously a footing hazard and the ice blocking the door was clearly a fire hazard. Called multiple times to update payment info before the 2nd payment (tried more than 3 times for 2 days during business hours) and nobody answered. Once I finally got to speak to somebody was told that you cant update payment info over the phone. Oh and of course I received a late fee for this garbage service. Go to Uhaul down the street.

When I stopped in to sign the lease I was surprised to hear about extra fees but proceeded with the transaction because I needed the space. The rental agent then told me that I needed proof of insurance on my property. If I did not have it they could offer it for a price. I said dont need insurance on what I was storing. She then said it is mandatory to rent the unit. I said then I will go elsewhere. Then all of a sudden there was a form to decline insurance so I did. Is this corporate policy to lie tho people to get more revenue ? Maybe they get a commission on insurance ? I was late to pay one time and they charged $38 as a late fee. Seemed a little ridiculous to me so I moved out. Found a local garage for 25% of what they charge at public storage.

Stop by to pay off a bill for my daughter, Man these storage lockers get more and more expensive every time I stop by, a gentleman up at the store decided to ask hey maybe we should transfer you down to a smaller unit size for a better price, I said sure, I got a bit of time today, it turns out i could get everything Into a bit of a smaller unit ,thats $30 that I dont have to spend every single month for stuff that is pretty much junk, but it aint mine so I dont get a say. anyway if you want good quality customer service check this place out and ask for Muhammad, youll leave feeling as if you didnt do your wallet wrong.

Because of Alexa and Jennifer at this storage location, I was saved from having a huge problem when my movers were coming to my newly-purchased storage box where I had just broken the key off in the lock. They worked hard to find me a replacement storage area, got me all set up on the computer, sold me a new lock, and never once asked how much of a big dumb ape Id have to be to break the key off in the lock! Thank you to both of these wonderful ladies. I definitely will be using this site for all of my storage needs for as long as those two work there.
