Will never go here again and based on my experience i would not recommend this to anybody. I was driving from Bradley, IL to Naperville. I had to make a couple of stops. All of the sudden my vehicle jerked during reverse and again in drive. So I decided to stop at Sparks(only because it was close to my house) After speaking with the technician, I decided to set up an appointment for the following morning. I first received a quote for the diagnostics, ok thats normal. I asked Johnny if the cost of the diagnostics goes toward any repair necessary, his response was yes. I left to go home. Feeling better that Sparks would repair my car the following day. I brought my car in at about 9am. After doing research the night before i informed them that the speed sensors might need to be replaced. At 3:30 Johnny called me and informed me that the speed sensors need replacing and that the total would be $216 plus the $100 Diagnostics. Bringing the total to $316. I questioned the Diagnostics charge and he said "I think we can do something about that". I went on with the repair with the understanding that the total was going to be around $216 and my repair would have been completed. At 5:00pm Johnny called and told me my car was ready to pick up. I went in and picked up my car. I drove no more than half mile and my engine light came back on. I immediately called and Johnny told me to bring my car back in tomorrow. I brought it back the next day and they said it would take them longer to look at the car to diagnose further, however they were not going to charge me again. As if i was supposed to pay for them not fixing the problem. I unfortunately could not bring my car back for 1 week, to give Sparks 2 whole days to look at my car. I received a call that evening and Johnny Said "We are unable to find the problem, and you might not want to throw money at a car and still not solve the problem." I have a 95 Saturn, with only 75k miles. The next morning I went to pick up my car and Johnny gave me my keys along with some BS report on the Transmissions of 1991 to 1994 Saturns. Again I have a 95. I left determined to take my vehicle somewhere else. After further research i found that 2 sensors could cause problems. both were only $15 each and were easy to repair, I decided to buy the parts and have a knowledgeable friend install them for me. After Installing the 2 sensors, which only took 20 min. total, I noticed an immediate fix. I have driven my car 600 miles since taking my car to Sparks, and my Service engine light has yet to come on. I hope my experience can help other consumers choose a better location than Sparks of Naperville.

Dont take your car here! I purchased a coupon for 3 oil changes. The first time I went there, things were fine. The second time, they drained the transmission fluid instead of the oil. The third time I went there, the lift broke with my car on it causing extensive damage to the drivers side when the car tipped over and hit a support column. While the lift breaking was not their fault, the way they handled the situation was very poor. The man working the front desk was very difficult to work with and gave inaccurate information about my car. The owner of the business was difficult to reach. They kept my car for two weeks to fix it, and when the car was returned to me, it was not completely repaired. My car has leather interior, and the door was replaced with a cloth interior, not leather. The frame of the driver’s side mirror was cracked, there were several stains in the car that weren’t there when I took the car in, my cell phone holder was broken, and while the outside of the car had been washed, the inside of the car was a mess. Several other items were not addressed as well. Trying to get the issues addressed was also a nightmare. Bob, the owner, is not always at the business, and the man at the front desk wouldn’t give us any information on how to reach him, yet wasn’t able to help us himself. Finally we were able to talk to Bob and he made an appointment for us to bring the car back to have it fixed to my satisfaction. We gave him a detailed list of all the items that needed to be fixed. Unfortunately, only some of the repairs were done. He won’t reimburse me for the broken cell phone holder, the stains were not removed, and a trim piece along the door is still loose. I also now have a whistling noise coming from the door that was not there when I first took the car in. In addition, I asked for all the paperwork on the work done on my car, including paperwork from Maaco, where they sent the car to be fixed, and he refuses to give it to me. This business had the opportunity to take a bad situation and make it better. At the minimum they should have made sure my car was fixed and returned to me in the same condition it was in when I took it to them. They could have gone above and beyond to make amends and had the car detailed and returned to me in even better condition, but instead I got a car that has more damage to it and is now of less value. Avoid this place!

I rarely write negative reviews as they mostly get ignored however, I hope you will take the time to read this one! This is absolutely one of the worst companies to do business with in the area. I spent over $600 for work that was neither authorized or needed. I took my sons truck in to have an oil leak fixed and told them that we were selling the truck and I didnt want to waste money on needless repairs. The offered to conduct a test to check where the oil change was located and came back to tell me where the major leaks were located. I explained that I was unwilling to pay the extimated $800 to get the truck fixed and they went ahead and did $600 of repairs without my approval. What is worse is that the leaks are as bad or worse than before and they refuse to do anything about it. They are dishonest and will take you for all they can. Please be careful about leaving any vehicle with this group of thieves.

Bob, Victor, ismael and Rocky are absolutely outstanding in customer service and quality of work! Ive been a loyal customer for years and have always trusted the opinion, workmanship and honesty of price and service, whenever Ive needed to have a vehicle attended to. I now have my daughter taking her vehicle here as well and wouldnt have it any other way. I can always count on Bob to be ever present and willing to answer any of my questions and provide help in anyway he can. His staff is phenomenal when dealing with even the smallest concerns of their customers and I for one, appreciate it immensely. Thank you to Bob and his stellar team for once again easing my mind and providing me with excellence of service above and beyond what most other places are willing to give you.
