Quality Work and Quality People! I would Highly Recommend this place to Everyone because it is the best Value in the Fox Valley. My wife and I have been taking ALL family cars here for years. They do quality repairs at very fair prices. I even have family coming out from Chicago and the north suburbs to get work done here. We had one particular instance where two other mechanics told me our 12 year old beater car needed thousands of dollars worth of work, but I brought it to Certified, and they fixed the car for $300. That was 5 years ago and that car is still running fine. The guys are very honest and friendly. They do like to begin their day early, so leave your car their real early, walk to the Metra if you commute downtown for the day, and when you get back its all done. Give them appropriate time, and they do a great job ..................................................................................................................................................................................... That other review is ridiculous... I got put on hold a few times too. Dont take it personally if they have more customers than just you. Worst part of that review is that he never actually had any work done. I definitely recommend Certified Auto. Mark, the guy in charge, is a really fair and decent businessman. He was personable and took time to discuss all my options and even showed me part price listings on his computer so I could understand the price break-down. Even though the shop was busy that day, he gave me personal attention and managed to fit my repair in the same day. Most impressive was that he offered to match a competitors price using a BETTER quality part than they would have used. I would absolutely do business here again.

I called and asked to have my car repaired and told the guy I needed it to pass the emissions by the end of the month and he laughed and told me I was screwed. I understand it is last minute but I told the guy I havent had the extra money until now. He then put me on hold and gave me time to think about it and decide I am about to pay someone somewhere between 4 and 5 hundred dollars to fix my audi, I not giving my money to a place with that kind of customer service.

A++++! Ive been searching for a good, honest mechanic for years. Mark is definitely that guy. I owned a 12 year old car and brought it to another place earlier this year. The mechanic would have charged me over $800 to fix and it wouldnt have solved the problem. Mark said it was going to cost me over $3000 and suggested to get rid of it instead. Ive been taking all my other cars there and I appreciate the best price and honest advice. TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!

Mark is very fair and I would trust him with any repair. His track record is flawless.
