This company is cheater. Dont look other review because they are their own employees/friends look like. When I read good review I though its nice to get someone who has good review. When I schedule an appointment for estimate for my electric work, Tom the owner so nice talking me that it will be only $39 and I confirm with him that the technician will give me estimate how much it will cost me to fix this. When technician arrive, he was very nice too. He said can I touch bed room switch and I said yes and I though without touching how he is going to find out the problem and I though he is being nice. When he was leaving, he said $89 charges and I said why and he explain me only arrive to your house its $39 and if I tough anything it will be $89. I said you did not say anything or TOM did not say or mention to me anything about this extra charge. Open cheating going on. I called tom and I cannot believe it that same nice Tom become a jerk Tom. Too rude. Please try to be careful before you call this people.

Hello Tom and the folks at Brilliant, Our 25 year old furnace went out last Friday and we elected to use Brilliant Cooling and Heating to replace the furnace. Saul was the technician assigned to the project. He was fabulous. Personable, efficient and the hardest worker I’ve ever seen. He had help carrying the new furnace down the stairs but from then on, he was on his own for the entire day into the evening. I finally made him a P&J sandwich at 5:00PM since he hadn’t gone to lunch. He was quite responsive to our needs, cleaned everything up before he left and provided his cell number if we needed anything else. Not only would we recommend Brilliant to any of our friends and neighbors, I would recommend that you reward Saul for his dedication to his work, his customers and his company.

My husband and I just bought our first home and we needed additional inspections for both the electrical and HVAC systems. We were in attorney review so we needed help fast! We called Brilliant Electric Heating & Cooling and they were very professional and accommodating. They were able to schedule both inspections with only 2 hours notice. Both technicians were friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. They took the time to explain everything to me, as I followed them around the house, and they really put my mind at ease. Weve used Brilliant to maintain our AC in the spring, and heater in the fall. Both times were a breeze. For the AC unit, they thoroughly cleaned it and even went to the roof to clean the unit up there. And for the furnace, they caught a faulty thermostat that was causing our furnace to restart more often than it should--although we didnt even notice until he pointed it out. Fixing just that one part should make a significant difference in our gas bill. The techs always take their time and explain exactly what theyre doing and why. Its really an educational experience! I highly recommend them and will continue to call on them routinely.

I called on New Years Eve early in the day. The owner answered (always a good sign) and had a repair man here within 2 hours! During the phone conversation, Tom was straight forward and honest about the charges and took the time to trouble shoot over the phone. The technician (Dave) carefully explained what he was looking at and offered suggestions on how to make the necessary improvements/repairs to ensure the problem doesnt repeat. I appreciated the prompt service, straight forward info on charges and their desire to establish a working relationship. A good experience! West

Nightmare! They cancelled our appointment hours after it was scheduled... Not once, but twice in the same week. My wife and I shuffled our schedules both days to be at home and ended up sitting there for nothing. When they finally showed up on the third try, the price was 860 dollars for less than two hours of work... Outrageous, but by this point we had no flexibility because we needed the work done for a party the next day.

I called Brilliant Electric and they were able to accomodate my schedule even at such a late call in the day. There customer service was efficient and they immediately sent out a wonderful technician who was very knowledgeable and advised honestly concerning my heating situation and needs. I felt confident in his expertise and would definitely consider this company for any of my future HVAC needs.

The owner is unethical, unprofessional, and a should be in jail for criminal business ethics. It doesnt stop at the owner. The technician was a complete moron. I am surprised he made it past kindergarten. I am unsure how long a company can survive with so much competition out there. However, if you read this, and DO NOT use them, hopefully it will weed out and make sure others do not get cheated.

I phoned in at noon requesting a minor repair. Customer service person was courteous and efficient in scheduling appt with technician and explaining billing. Technician arrived on time early next morning, was courteous and quickly completed the task. Total time from phone contact to job done was under 24 hrs. I am satisfied and would definitely use them again.

Great guy and did a fine job installing a light fixture in our ceiling - but the price was just incredibly high for the task at hand. Weve used them for two different houses and even had them install a new elec panel at our old house... weve always been satisfied, but the price to install a light fixture was laughable. Not sure if well be able to use them again.

Courteous and professional, but on the expensive side. $150 to change out a dimmer switch and i already had bought the new switch. Figured it was a complex process, but he was done in 10 minutes. I expected them to be union with that pricing but they are not. In fairness, they are upfront about any pricing/fees.

If I could give them negative 5 stars I would. The technician informed me after arriving that to even diagnose a problem would be $349. I (stupidly) agreed to this, and he ended up doing about 10 minutes worth of work on something that didnt even end up being a problem. I paid the $349 anyway. Never again!

Awesome service! This is the second time I have had Brilliant electric to my condo. Very professional and polite. They go out of their way to make sure that they service the customer. I will only use Brilliant in the future for all my electrical, heating and cooling needs!

Excellent and professional service. The technician diagnosed the problem immediately and quickly resolved the issue that was causing electricity surges. I will definitely use them again and will consider switching to Brilliant for future heating and cooling as well.
