I recently contracted Dunn Electric to install an emergency generator, remove, rewire and replace an outdated fuse panel and combine two electric meters into one, in my two story home which was built in 1931. Any major work in an older home requires a certain kind of skill/finesse to accommodate for the building practices,additions and various changes which were made over the years. The technicians at Dunn made numerous trips to my home taking photos, drawing prospective plans and working with me in their ideas. The result of their numerous visits yielded three possible generator choices, including the cost for each. The choices were very easy to understand and I made my selection immediately. The installation began on a Tuesday, all the work that required electrical shutdown was completed that day. The next three days involved running electrical cable through the cellar, men working on the placing of the generator and pad, placing switching boxes, emergency lights, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in the house and many other details. The last day we had the gas piped to the generator, tested it, it ran beautifully and the final test - we shut off power to the house- the generator

Im a 24 year resident of Clarksville AND in the military. I have used other electricians in the past and have always had some gripes about their work. This time was different...I came home from a deployment to find out that our old Federal Pacific main panel was going out and very dangerous. My wife was using a broom stick to push in breakers in order to get our stove to turn on...Needless to say, it was an emergency. They came out, did the estimate, and scheduled an appointment on the spot. Chris (super professional) came out and installed a brand new state of the art panel with a built in surge protector and a life time warranty. He even cleaned the area after he was done. I cant tell you how happy I am knowing my family and house are safe. I can deploy knowing that Dunn Electrical will be there when and if we ever need them! I will recommend them to everyone I know and work with from now on.

Everyone at Dunn Electrical Service is wonderful! I had a problem with my generator and they not only fixed the problem, but also pressure washed the area where oil had leaked. They made sure that I understood the issues with the generator and welcomed me to contact them if I had further problems or questions. They are friendly and responded very quickly to my call. When I thanked them for going the extra mile, I was told that they just wanted me to be happy. You dont always get that attitude!

We scheduled an appointment last Friday to address some ongoing lighting and circuit problems in our house. Brandon, the technician showed up on time and isolated and repaired the problem without delay. We couldnt have been more pleased with the work. Just wanted to take the time to thank you all for fixing our smoke detector issue. Chris, I believe, came out on 22 April and was here for a bit trying to determine what the problem was. He was very nice and polite and seem to really care about fixing the issue and even came back once we started having beeps after he left. Last Friday Chris installed front and back door dual floodlights. Did a great job on installation. The outside wall is brick with 20 year old recessed receptacle boxes. Final fit and finish was excellent and weatherproof sealed. Chris also installed an inside light switch and GFCI dual receptacle. Thanks for the excellent service.
