DO NOT PATRON HERE IF YOU VALUE THE SAFETY OF YOUR VEHICLE AND THE RESPECT OF YOUR TIME!!! 1. The manager, James Berry, is unprofessional and exhibits a poor attitude toward women. He spoke very condescendingly as we discussed what I needed addressed on my vehicle. When I informed him that I would take my vehicle elsewhere, his attitude changed and he became accommodating. 2. Six hours later I received a phone call stating that one of the service people (Alejandro) CRASHED THE REAR OF MY VEHICLE INTO A TREE! They paid to repair of course. 3. However, in the interim I needed a loaner or rental vehicle. I was told that no one was available to bring a rental to the shop and that I may drive a loaner to pick up the rental; I was also told that I would have to pay for the rental with a credit card and wait for reimbursement. After some discussion and debating of fault and inconvenience, I was told that I could just keep the loaner to get around in until my vehicle was repaired. 4. The registration on the loaner expired August 31st. My car had been in repair since the incident date (August 23rd). My husband returned the loaner in anticipation of an exchange. 5. He was told by the service worker (Alejandro) that the loaner vehicle may have been reported stolen because we were not supposed to keep it. The manager, Jim Berry, lied to my husband, stating that he and I never had a conversation confirming that I may keep the loaner until our vehicle was repaired. Thus, we did not get an exchange and my husband was stranded with our 16-month-old son. I ended up having to request a favor from a co-worker to remedy the situation; as well as take public transportation for the next week. 6. On September 9th I called to check on the status of the vehicle and was told that it was ready to be picked up. I work across the street so I eagerly went to retrieve my vehicle. At that point, I was informed by Marcos (service worker) that the initial reason for service (O2 sensor replacement) had never been performed. I asked for all of my warranty information and my keys. When approaching my car, I hit the trunk sensor to make sure everything was as it was prior to the incident. It wouldnt open. I tried it manually; no luck. I went back inside and informed Marcos that the electronic sensor did not work and I could not open it manually with the handle either. He called Jim. Jim advised him to use the key. Marcos and I walked to the vehicle; he opened the trunk with the key. This seemed to satisfy Jim... I dont know if Jim could hear my comment to Marcos and I am hoping he reads it here, THE FACT THAT THE KEY OPENS THE TRUNK IS NOT THE POINT! MY VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED AND NOT RETURNED IN THE SAME CONDITION IN WHICH I LEFT IT!!! 7. I called the corporate office to report the entire series of events. I was told to expect a phone call within 48-hours. That was 6 days ago and Ive heard nothing from anyone. 8. In addition to the trunk not opening the way it used to, the driver side window now stalls raising up and lowering down; and the speedometer and fuel gage lights do not work, making it a little difficult to monitor speed at night. THIS TREATMENT AND NEGLIGENCE IS UNACCEPTABLE AND WILL NOT END HERE. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!

Long story short. A month ago I had a flat and the rest of my tires were in bad shape. I decided to buy 4 brand new tires and get it over with. I work near this pepboys so I decided to come here. Big Mistake. When I arrived and got a quote, Martin whos the manager was polite and even offered free coffee while I waited. Short wait , Good price I though of giving this place 5 stars but that all changed today. I bought the tires on 8/21/14 today 9/20/14 I noticed one of the tires was losing air. I took it my local pepboys they told me it had a rupture on top and that it couldnt be fixed it needed to be replaced. They then looked at the paper work from when I purchased the tires. The tires did not have a warranty on them and the manufacturers warranty wouldnt cover it. The employee of my local pepboys told me to call Martin from the pepboys at Niles since in the paper work he didnt offer me an extended warranty. The paper work does not show that it was offered or that I declined it. I was not offered this extended warranty. I call Martin and explain to him my situation. He then tells me he remembers the exact conversation (from a month ago)and that I denied the warranty. He tells me the damage to my tire was because of my "neglect" and that its my fault. (without knowing me or my driving habits)He then tells me the low price of my tires was because he removed the extended warranty (without telling me) and that best he do for me was "sell me another tire" Unbelievable I hanged up immediately. I was tired of being yelled it and I really didnt want to argue with this scum bag anymore. All the employees at my local pepboys told me he was the one that made a mistake, and helped me fix my tire at a good price. Youll only be treated with respect here before you give them your money afterwards youre screwed.

Ive gone here a few times because they have provided adequate service for an affordable price. I called today to make an appointment for tomorrow, and the person immediately went into how they are done for the day. I said that is fine, what about tomorrow? He says 10am. I asked how much a specific service was and he wasnt listening (again) and verbally quoted something else. Then he asked to place me on hold because he has 5 people at his counter - all the while sounding very inconvenienced. After a few minutes and thought, I decided it best to stick with my dealership. I always try to save a buck, but probably not a good idea with a churn and burn attitude. It doesnt feel they have the customer best interest at heart.

They had my van towed without my consent. It was also the roof over my head. The day before Easter. Knowing someone was on the way to buy the van and that money was going to be used to pay for my plane ticket to AZ where my father was in the ER. I had to pay $216 to the tow company, when I didnt have enough money to get my plane ticket to see my father in possibly his last days with us. Thank you Pep Boys for a great Easter...slept on a cold concrete store front in only shorts and a tshirt. Remember, I remember!!

Great staff and service. I hit a pothole on my way to work. Called them up (they open at 7 a.m.!) and they replaced two tires so quickly that I still made it to work on time. I was worried they would try to sell me more than I needed, but not these guys. They did great work for a fair price. Im changing my appt for new brakes to them from a competitor. Highly recommend.

Truly I was a little nervous after reading the reviews, but now Im sold on this location. The manager Ben and the tech George took great care of my wifes car. Got 4 new tires and an oIL change. They did show concern for our brakes and a fee other odds and enfs they were far from pushy or put off by our choice to tackle those issues another day. Well be back for service. Derek
