Im not sure whether to give 3 stars or 2. I had to ship a 24" LCD to my brother in California. It was in its original packaging but the box had a hole in it so I thought it would be better to purchase another box and put the original box inside of that. The big box was $17! Okay, whatever, it was an unusually large box so Im fine with that. Jenny, who helped me, was pleasant and packaged the TV in the big box and rung me up for $50 something for UPS ground plus the cost of the box. Great, grand and wonderful. The next morning, I realized I had forgotten to pack the remote with the TV. So I stopped by in the morning and to get the remote to my brother at the same time as the TV, it was going to cost $26! For a remote! And to make things more unusual, it was $1 cheaper to get it there a day before the TV. I was in a rush since I had to get to work so I opted for the $25 option. So it costs half as much to ship a remote that weighs 40-something pounds less? Im going to try FedEx the next time to I have to ship something large and see if the prices are as ridiculous. Ill give 3 stars because the staff was friendly in both cases. Im just not sure about UPSs pricing scheme.

I went in to ship something, and I had the label on a thumbdrive. I asked how much to print two pages, and she told me, but that I would need to print it, myself. The woman directed me to the computer, saying thats where I had to print it, and when I got back to the register, she charged me for use of the computer(??) I was a little miffed, because she should have been upfront and said there was a charge for that, too. Instead, she points out there was a charge for surfing the web (per 15 minutes), when I neither went online nor stayed on for more than 4 minutes printing. CROOKS... CONNIVING. NICKLE & DIMING SLIME... and all for less than a buck? I would have paid it, because i needed to, but they did not give the option... rather, choosing to sneak in the charge as I paid for the prints. CROOKS. I did confront her, and let her know that it would be "RIGHT" if they told people about the charge after they direct them to the darn computer.

This is the best UPS store Ive been to. They really take care of customer service with the warmest most knowledgeable staff. Their packing services are also the best! I send all of my equipment through them and never worry about anything being damaged.

Do not use UPS for passport photos. Its only 8 dollars for 2 photos, but the quality is bad (and the government will likely reject them). Go to a photo studio -- they charge 10 dollars for 2 photos, but photo studios make sure the photos are OK.

Go to a different UPS. They lack customer service. They had troubles processing. Their computers were down supposely went to LaGrange UPS a few minutes away they were fast polite and hassle free
