I have ad at least 10 moves with professional moving companies and have a lot of experience with how things are done. Amenity was charging by how many people and by the hour. An extra person showed up with the team so I was forced to pay a higher hourly rate. At first I thought well they will just get it done faster. But that was not the case. They loaded and unloaded 1 box at a time, it didnt matter how small the item was, they only carried 1 item. They did not use a hand cart to move multiple boxes at all. I asked them about it and they said they prefer to carry a box. They put boxes where they wanted them and claimed I should have directed them, but at the time I was answering questions from another worker. All the boxes were clearly marked their locations, so there was no need to hold their hand. It took a whole day to move the items that I had left in the house. When Amenity looked at the job, they based their price on what they saw, but they were aware that since they couldnt schedule the appointment until a week after I took possession of the house that I would start moving items on my own in the interim. So 3/4 of all the boxes and smaller items we had already moved on our own. It should have taken 6 men at the max 4 hours. Keep in mind I had an out of state mover from my permanent home move a whole house the week before in 8 hours and there was only 3 men. I feel like Amenity employees were cordial, but definitely took advantage of my situation and milked the job to make more money. I will never use them again and I will stick to the larger Moving Van Lines.

I have had Amenity Movers move us three times. From the first when we had to pack everything together, Sandy made me feel comfortable at the start and she did such a wonderful, careful, and professional job that it made the moving so much easier. I was also very impressed when Mike and his crew came and had to move our piano and all our large items. I was worried I would have to get special movers but they did a very careful job and everything was in perfect condition. I would never have anyone else do my moving for me. At each move they have done a perfect job and they were so careful with the walls, door frames, even when it seemed as though would be impossible to get anything in. Thank you Mike,Sandy and Patrick. You are fabulous.

Amenity Movers are absolutely wonderful. They are professional, friendly & courteous as well as extremely careful with everything. We have a pier bedroom set which is very difficult to put together and they aced it beautifully. Sandy & her crew packed our things including Lladros and there was absolutely no damage or breakage. We had problems with our closing and they couldnt have been more helpful. We were more than pleased with them. We have since recommended them to others who were also very satisfied. Their price is reasonable. I cant say enough good about them and highly recommend them.

All the guys that came to move my sister and I were so professional and worked diligently. They had mats for all the floors in the residence and even covered each piece due to the monsoon rain that was falling. Peace of mind knowing that our belongings really mattered to each of the movers was so important. Price and timing all fell into our prepared budget. We will only use Amenity Moving & Storage to relocate. In addition we are both highly satisfied with Amenitys onsite storage in Plainfield. Need a good reference for a local mover? Best Moving Company weve ever worked with!!!!! Amenity moved a baby grand piano for us and Im so happy we found them. They were a pleasure to work with, were great at communicating when and where they were going to be places, and were the most inexpensive by far! Mike and his team really knew a lot about pianos as well, and even made recommendations for us about how to be safe with moving it, opening it, etc... because we have a toddler and he wanted to make sure she was safe. Will definitely be using them in the future and recommending them to all our friends!

I was in a bit of a time crunch, last-minute situation. Mike was able to squeeze in my piano move within a few days. They could not have been more careful and professional with moving a baby grand piano from a friends house in a neighboring town to ours. (She moved out of state. We bought her piano.) They put it all together for us and positioned it in the room. I left Mikes card with a local music store since they couldnt recommend anyone when I called. Now they can. We highly recommend this company! I would definitely trust them with my antique furniture.

Mike and Sandy & moving crew from Amenity Moving & Storage are the best! We moved with them twice and they were excellent both times. I recently called Amenity Movers to see if they also do small jobs as we had a ping pong table and sleeper sofa that needed to be moved. To my surprise Patrick, one of the moving crew remembered me from our previous moves and that really made me feel special. I always recommend Amenity Movers to any of my friends who are moving because they help make a stressful situation like moving very easy and smooth:)

I have used them twice when I moved. Once to unload and set up my apartment. The second to pack and ship my apartment. I liked them so well the first time, I had them do the second. I did collect local bids to see if they were competitive and they came out close to the lowest, but the trust from the first move was worth the little bit. Both times their workers were excellent. They packed everything carefully. Both time right on time and did their work as quickly as they could. I would recommend them for your next move.

Amenity moved me from my tiny house - 792 sq ft. this past week. This was a challenge because the doors are smaller and the furniture is bigger. They were wonderful. Not a nick to my furniture of the walls. I have some antiques and they were handled with the utmost care. My new home has normal size doors, so everything went in with no trouble. I have had nightmare moves in the past, but Amenity it the BEST ever. Truly white glove service and worth every penny. The crew was wonderful - thank you!! Kenned in Westchester
