My children have been attending Goddard in Saint Charles since they were newborns, my daughter is now 4 and my son is one. I truly believe that both the curriculum as well as the passion of the teachers has been a key driver in the development of both of my children. Both my daughter and son appear to socialize and express themselves at a more advanced rate than peers of theirs. They also appear to learn quicker and at a higher level than their peers. I could not be more pleased with the staff as well as the curriculum of this location. We could not have made a better choice in deciding to send our children to Goddard in Saint Charles. The staff is attentive to our children as well as to us as parents. Several times a year there are parent teacher conferences, and at any time we can request to meet with either the teachers, Director or Owner of this facility. We have never had any issues with either communications or having our issues addressed. Since the change in ownership we have noticed a difference in parent child involvement through extracurricular activities outside of a normal school day. We are also convinced that this type of facility is an excellent segue into elementary education. This type of environment is exactly like a school year from fall to spring with a designed path and lesson plans that progress your child to the next step of education. Once the school year is over it becomes more of a summer camp. Although during the summer there is still education taking place everyday there are summer activities that occur for our children. We are extremely comfortable with sending our children here daily and feel 100% secure that both their safety and well being are cared for at all times. As far as the negativity in some of these posts, I am unsure how these are warranted. The one needs to be a lot more specific and not just post a single sentence. For indivuals that use these types of correspondence to gain an understanding about specific places, one sentence negative posts do not help, specificity is key particularly when trying to find a location to send your children everyday. As far as the the more specific negative post, I did notice a difference in the current location with the current ownership versus the previous owner 3.5 years ago. I believe where we are at today with the current ownership and staff is a dramatic difference than before and we could not be happier. All I would say is these types of post can assist in making a decision but to truly understand if this is the right place for your kids, you need to go and see for yourself. Again we love this place and could not imagine sending our children any where else.

It is national teachers appreciation week, and I want to share how much we love the teachers in our daughters life. Goddard daycare in St. Charles has been an excellent experience for my daughter. Last year when my husband I began our search for daycare options, we knew we wanted a place that was dedicated to the educational, social, emotional and physical development of our child. We looked at multiple places in the area, but decided that Goddard would be the place for us to go and we are thrilled with the decision. As an educator, myself, I was concerned that the experience was one that was developmentally appropriate for infants and toddler stages and not just a "showy" packaged curriculum that sounded nice in a brochure. When my husband and I met with the staff we were most impressed with the attention to each child and the orderly, yet open and engaging environment for children to learn through a combination of play and developmental objectives. In the last six months I have been continually impressed with the teaching, care and concern for the children who are in the care in my daughters classroom. Even when staff has changed the quality of care has never changed and remained superior. We are delighted with our Goddard experience and encourage those who are looking for a day care facility in this area to consider the school for their children. Each family has to find a place that fits its own concerns objectives, and we are very happy that Goddard has lived up to our expectations! Thank you for loving, caring and being a key part of our daughters development!

I feel bad for the parent who wrote that review. My child was in the class with that child and he would come home crying about a girl in class that would be so mean to him and his friends. Hitting them calling them names destroying projects that they worked on, making it impossible for him to nap because of the relentless fits. We were on our way out but, we loved the school and had been here for a long time. When the owner made that difficult decision the dynamic of the classroom changed. My son once again loved school. We couldnt be happier. As far as staff change, it was always communicated to parents when something came up (2 staff moved out of state and from what I hear works at another Goddard). Another teacher left to pursue her life long love of animals and told everyone where she was going before she left. The owner is always there and talks to the parents daily. I have a great relationship with my childs teachers, I have never had an issue with communication. The staff is tremendously caring and educated. There is an entire wall with staff biographies pointing out their educational backgrounds. Most of the staff have their Bachelors degrees, those who dont have their Associates in Early Childhood. Parent involvement is key to raising a successful child, if you were oblivious to your childs actions Im sorry.

My daughter is currently enrolled in the pre-k program at The Goddard School, having just moved on from a daycare program. I cannot say how wonderful the staff has been to us during this transition. The teachers in her classroom are warm, friendly and engaging, encouraging the kids to participate and do their best. They are always willing to take a minute to talk to me if I have a question or concern. The classroom is kept technologically up-to-date and always in line with the curriculum, which was provided to me during parent-teacher conferences. (Yep, they engage and involve the parents too! Its a refreshing change.) The whole facility is kept clean and is inviting. I have been told that I can come stop by anytime, there arent restricted visitation hours. The owner and director are wonderful, always willing to talk and check in with me, just to see how things are going. I am so thankful that I enrolled my daughter into The Goddard School. In the short time she has been with Ms. AnneMarie and Ms. Amanda in the Squirrels classroom (pre-k), she has absolutely blossomed. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking to give their child a solid foundation for school years to come.

I love the Goodard School in St. Charles. My daughter has been attending the school since Aug. of 2012. Mrs. Gina D. is her teacher. She noticed that my daughter was learning at a slower rate then the other kids in her class. She brought it to our attention immediately and more then once. We started to see what she was saying and got my daughter the services she needed to excel in the classroom. Thanks to Mrs. Gina my daughter is doing really well. My daughter absolutely adores Mrs. Gina. Ms. Amanda is also her teacher and she is so sweet. My daughter goes to school in the morning so she does not get to learn all of the curriculum they go over in the morning. Ms. Amanda goes over the things she missed in the morning so she is never behind or misses out! My wife and I love Goodard and the staff is exceptional! There isnt a better daycare/ school in the area.
