Just stopped in today to get some key blanks cut for my Lockport. Karl was quick and very friendly. Overall terrific service. I asked if appointments were generally needed after having read a previous review; he said absolutely not. As long as he or someone else is in the shop, they can help. Occasionally there might not be anyone there if they are out on a job, but they have their phone number clearly labeled for 24/7 service (well, 23 hours). Again, great service here. Highly recommended!

Stopped by the store not realizing that it was appt only. Someone was on-site, and said he was too busy to make a duplicate motorcycle key. He told me to call and make an appt, when I did, I got the feeling that I was bothering him as I got the Im really busy line again. I went into Libertyville and found a different shop. Let me put it this way; I spent more time hearing how busy this guy was than it took someone else who appreciated my business to make my key.

I highly recommend Karlock and so did the Vernon HIlls Police Department. After being robbed I called Karl and he came right out and we redid all of our locks that were a lot more secure than before. He explained options and made it very easy to make a decision and then on a Saturday did the installation. Karl nice job and thank you! Hunter

Called John I must have really caught him off guard. Not only did he sound annoyed , he mentioned to me that he was was doing end if month work. I told him, the reason, I called him was because he is the professional. I guess, I was mistaken- first time calling him and certainly last time.
