This is an honest review. After a very unfortunate & embarrassing DUI change that I am not proud of, I chose Strang Automotive as the site to install the court ordered MDDP device. Strang was listed as one of 30 facilities to have the MDDP installed into my car. Strang had the lowest installation cost and so I went with them. BAD MOVE! Literally, from the first day I had the MDDP installed on my car I"ve had one electrical failure after another. I immediately took my car back to Strang and explained the situation & they have played the deny game over & over again saying it is a conicidence, ha! Never fixing the situation! I had no issues with my car outside of routine maintenance prior to letting Strang Automotive near my car!!! I finally had the device taken off after 6 months & my cars woes have only gotten worse!!! It starts sometimes and sometimes it does not. Ive been embarrassingly stranded on more than one occassion. Ive taken my car to 5 mechanics (several times each) in a two month time span. Often by tow truck. Every other automechanic Ive taken my car to says right away its obvious the electrical components around the dash have been mis-handled - which is the site of the installed MDDP device by Strang Automotive. Theres no question that their is an electrical malfunction in my car that is traced back to the site of the MDDP installation. No care or concern is shown by Strang Autmotive. My situation is unique in that it is a DUI charge but make no mistake it is not a complicated job but was done by careless, unqualified mechanics!!! Ive spent 100s of dollars in a 3 or 4 month period trying to chase down this electrical failure caused by Strang!

I went to Dick Strang Automotive for a tune up on my car everything work just fine when I took it in. My first mistake was not checking it out before I paid. I had my husband to get the keys so that I will be able to pick up when I got off work, which is after hours. 1st the car was unlock anyone could have got into the car . 2nd My Air condition no longer works. This was on the weekend so I had to take it back Monday Morning. When I took it back they swore that it did not work and they will charge me $200 extra to try to find what is wrong with it. after pay $463 on the car you think I want to pay and extra $200 for something they have done.

I have been a loyal customer of Dick Strang Automotive for 40+ years. I have never had an issues with work done at this shop. The prices have aways been fair and the work completed in a timely manner. This is a repair shop that has been in business for a long time, with qualified staff. They have a reputation for excellent customer service. SLW
