Today I called their 3rd street location to ask about the price for dress cleaning and preservation. They quoted me on price and told me to take it to the 17th street location because they send it out to be cleaned from that location. Later that very day, I go in and they tell me that its actually $60 more than what I was quoted and just told me the other woman was mistaken. I asked if they would at least price match another store in town that was slightly less expensive than what they said it would be when I went in but still $40 more than what I was quoted earlier in the day. They told me no. The whole ordeal was very unprofessional, and the woman working lacked any accountability or awareness of customer care. It felt like I was tricked into going there, and they hoped I would pay an extra $60. Nope. Davids Bridal is cheaper and more upfront.

Not sure if their quality of service has simply declined over the past few years, but I will never go back to Bloomington Cleaners again. About a month ago they failed to dry clean my suit coat and when I came to pick it up it was wadded up in a ball in the corner of the store. It took more 1.5 weeks just to have a suit cleaned. Today was the last straw when I went to pick up my suit. I forgot a few writing utensils in my pocket (which had been given to me as a gift and were quite expensive), and despite calling within an hour of having dropped the suit off, I was laughed at today and told "they probably got thrown out." Dry cleaning is dry cleaning. Save yourself the rude experience that is Bloomington Cleaners and just go somewhere else.

I called to inquire about a belt that I lost, and the woman on phone was rude and unhelpful. Despite knowing (without prompting) which garment (1 of 7 garments) had lost the belt, she insisted that it hadnt come in with a belt. She told me I could ask her manager the following Monday to review the security tapes, and that she was too busy to discuss the issue further. I hope shes correct that I lost the belt. Because if they lost the belt, Im sure Ill never see it again. As a sidenote, the tailor, Pat, did a wonderful job tailoring my suit for me. I would go back to her for my tailoring needs, but I wont ever use their cleaning services again.

I dont usually write reviews, but I have to write one about Bloomington Cleaners. I had a sweater that had some white streaks on it after cleaning. When I brought it back, they told me that it was because there was wear on the garment in those places--but they kept the sweater and painstakingly combed it out fiber-by-fiber until the white streaks were gone, and they did this quickly and without charge. After this experience, I just had to recommend them to everyone.

Ive recently moved away from Bloomington and I already miss this place. I took a variety of work to them and, they were so reliably good! I took in an expensive silk gown and they were very careful with it and even re-steamed it for me when I noticed some wrinkles. Great local business - you should go here if youre concerned about quality and reliability, and youll get pretty good service to go with it.

been cleaning, pressing, and starching my work shirts for years. i love this cleaner. reasonably priced, very friendly, and they have gladly accommodated some special instructions about how i wanted stuff pressed. awesome! they also did a good job replacing a split seam on the shoulder of a favorite vintage shirt when i took it in to be cleaned.

Took 3 suits and 2 ties to them to be dry cleaned. * They were ready on time * They were cleaned as promised * Each item was expertly pressed * The pick up process took less than 3 minutes Add to that, that the process they use is environmentally friendly (and my suits dont have that weird dry cleaning smell), Im extremely pleased!

They are, without a doubt, the best dry cleaners you could ask for. I lived in B-town for 9 years and never once had bad service. There were so many +1 situations where they went above and beyond that I couldnt write them all. I wish I could have moved them with me!

I apologize if anyone seen that review. It was NOT an accurate location nor review of this business. . I had a bad experience in Bloomington, Minnesota NOT Bloomington, Indiana. Not sure how Indiana got on that. Deepest apologies for that mistake.

I needed a shirt done sooner than same day service normally allowed. I called and asked, they said no problem. They didnt even charge me a rush fee! Bloomington Cleaners is a good business.
