I recently took two items to Kinser Cleaners and Launderers, one of which needed dry cleaning and another which needed to be hemmed. They did a great job cleaning my silk shirt at a reasonable price, but I was incredibly unimpressed with how they handled my other shirt. I had a woven cotton shirt whose hem had separated a few inches on the side and needed to be serged back together. They said that they could finish it over the weekend, but had not completed it by Monday. I came back 8 DAYS LATER and they still had not completed what was a 15-20 minute job and told me to call the next day to ensure that a priority was set on my sewing job. The purpose of a business is to serve its customers and the onus should not be on the customer to reminder the sewing person at a dry cleaner to do such a small job, after having been given WAY longer than they originally promised. If you need dry cleaning done, great place. If you need adjustments or tailoring, avoid this store at all costs.

First of all, they do not tell you how much any service of theirs costs until they have already done it, thus forcing you to pay it even though it is vastly over priced. The one exception to this rule is that they tell you regular laundry is $1 per pound, but then they dont measure the weight until you have left, so you have no idea how much it will cost. ALSO, I gave them a shirt to dry clean, which they proceeded to throw in a washing machine. ALSO, they do not use bleach when they do laundry so my white shirts came out dingy. ALSO, I gave them a pair of pants to stitch up -- the next day the rip opened right up. My total charge for all of their ineptitude was $41.95. That is ridiculous.

Before today, Id leave them a five star review as they have always been fast, helpful, and professional. However, three weeks ago we sent two suits to be dry cleaned - when they came back, both of them had a really bad heavy smell - a really nauseating smell. Sent in to be cleaned again but the smell persisted. Our suits arent really dirty to begin with, but after paying them, they became unwearable. Gone are the $24 bucks we pay them and the days without the suits. Looking for another cleaner now to hopefully clean up the mess they created.

My experience here was disappointing. I dropped off clothes to be washed, dried, and folded. This place charges $1.00 per pound..whereas most places charge around $.80 to $.85 per pound. The results were disappointing, especially for the higher prices. The clothes were mostly wrinkled, and did not have any pleasant/clean smell to them. I gave this place a try since it was close to my dorm, but I will have to try somewhere else..

Kinser has good turn-around time. Front desk staff is friendly. Only a few times in several years have I had a shirt come back with dirt on the edge of a sleeve or front edge, I believe it is from their press. They have recleaned the shirt for free when that happens. Have never noticed wrinkles when picking up laundered shirts and dry cleaned pants.

I dont know why you all are complaining about prices, if you dont know you can just ask them how much something costs. I took a suit jacket to get dry cleaned, and asked how much it was. Then they told me $6.25. Weird how that works. They were also very friendly. I dont see any problems with this place

Great service. Locally family owned. Great people. Been going for years never had any issues. Take all my work shirts, dry cleaning, and stitch and mending work. They also put patches on that stay in place forever.
