Hmmmm..... In December of 2012, my car began idling poorly. The accerleration was suddenly bad. I was told it may need a tune up. I took my car immediately to Carmichaels. After having it three days, they gave me an estimate of $2,000+. As the car is a 94, I knew it was hardly worth that investment. I gave up one part-time job and two volunteer jobs, thinking I would have to go car-free and focus my time/energy on getting to my other jobs on foot/by bus. A blessed friend suggested I visit Stop and Go Muffler in Ellettsville. Thank heavens I did, and thank heavens for Stop and Go! They fixed my car for just $350; my car has been running great ever since and it is now May 2013! Did I mention that the guy at Carmichaels offered to buy my car off of me, for a couple hundred? Shame on you, Carmichaels Auto and Truck.

I had a wheel fall off of my F150 and the towing company took it here. They had to buy a new wheel and wheel assembly. The assembly was bought new while the wheel was purchased used. They found a used wheel that looked new and even looked better than the other three on the truck. They explained to me why the wheel fell off in the first place as the bolts were not properly torqued. They showed me how to check that the bolts are torqued, and even had me bring my truck in after a hundred miles of driving to retorque the bolts. They were very professional and friendly. They cost more than the average shop, but their service and professionalism more than make up for it.
