I locked my keys in the car and the lights on yesterday after hurrying to get to a wedding in time. Rather than walking back to my mother-in-laws house (only a short distance away) and missing part of the wedding ceremony, I thought, why dont I call a locksmith? J&S has helped me out before and they have been very easy to work with and very professional. They were there within 10-15 minutes, I gave him my card info over the phone, and they came and unlocked the car and left me a message. Im VERY happy with their service and would definitely recommend them to anyone who ends up being locked out of their car, house, or needs some assistance. Thanks for the great service!

Ive been a customer of J & S as a consumer and as a business manager. These folks are extremely helpful, honest and affordable its appreciated. I say honest because unbenounced to me my 82 year old mother in-law and my son took her mower to J & S to be serviced, it wouldnt start, and she wanted blades sharpened while there. $18 dollar was the total due! It turns out theres a safety mechanism that wasnt engaging properly which prevented it from starting. They sharpened the blades and showed my son how to resolve the safety issue in the future.

Terrible service, Terrible attitude!!! Waited 2 days for them to come and fix My commercial lock. After calling multiple times and getting hung up on he shows up...Busts through my door with a very poor attitude!! Does not introduce himself as to who he is, just tells me he is supposed to be off work! Argued with me and continued to work as angry as possible on my lock. I would never use them again! Some people should be lucky to have a job!!!

I called to schedule an appointment with the locksmith. They said he would arrive at my home in an hour and he never came. When I called back, they said it was "after hours" and that they would be charging me a higher rate to come out even though he was a no-show. Very unprofessional. I expect more from a local business like this that has been around for quite some time.

Had an appointment and came in, no one was there who could help me. Waited 30 min for a key smith, still no show. Someone tried to help but couldnt and said I needed to wait for someone else. They told me someone would call me when a technician came in so i left. No one called. Desperately need competent management, or employees who can manage themselves better.

I wanted to make some duplicate keys for my apartment. Could not find anyone near downtown Bloomington who could do that for me. I searched on the Internet, Yellow Book and made some phone calls... Found this place! I walked to their shop and they cut my keys for a reasonable price. A Dollar and half each. No complaints.

Well, Scott Stewart was confusingly angry at me for telling him that he had left a message on my phone because my landlord requested him to do so. He basically hung up on me right after telling me someone else would call back. If you could use negative intergers for a rating, I would give them one.

Always a waste of time, most of the guys are rude and act like your bothering them when you walk though the door. Even simple phone calls end up with a wise guy answering trying to talk down on you. I now drive 30+ min to martinsville for the Stihl dealer up there because J and S is so rude..

These folks have always done a good job for me. I have gone there a number of time to have keys made. More than once, they were several times cheaper than the dealer. They havent been able to help me every time, but they alwayls tried their best.

Very happy with the service I received today. I went in with a blank key for my car. It was a flip key so hard to cut. They took the time to take my key assembly apart to cut the key. Thank you! The only people in town willing to help me.

Took them my saw for minor repairs, they called me 3 weeks later to tell me they couldnt find parts or fix the saw. When I went to pick it up they gave it back to me disassembled and charged me $25. Nuff said.
