I usually dread calling a locksmith, especially after hours, because they always sound pretty grouchy and upset that you bothered them (or woke them up), but that wasnt the case with F & S Locksmith. My keys were locked in my car with the engine running at 5am in mid-December, and I gave up trying to open it myself after my fingers froze and I realized I was probably going to run out of gas. I called F&S around 5:45 and was told it would be about 20-25 minutes, with no grouchy or rude tone. He showed up in about 15 minutes, fully awake with a smile on his face and was extremely nice. He cracked a joke at my brothers Purdue bumper sticker and got to work. He talked with me and laughed while he was carefully wedging things into my door instead of furrowing his eyebrows and keeping silent. Ive locked my keys in my car plenty of times, and Ive been nearby when friends have, so Ive seen my share of locksmiths doing their thing. I have never seen someone open up a car so quickly and easily in the (too) many encounters Ive had with locksmiths. Seriously, I dont think Jimmy Johns could have made me a sandwich in the time that it took to get that door open. I think the total work time, not counting his walking over to his truck to grab another tool, was under a minute. 2 at most. I called at 5:45 and was inside my car by 6:10. There was also no damage to my door or the weather stripping. Not only was he the most pleasant and skilled locksmith Ive met, but one of the most pleasant people Ive met in general. Can we be friends? I usually just quickly Google a locksmith when I need one, but, while I dont plan on ever locking my keys in my car again (ha!), now I am storing F&S in my phone for future reference.

I called F & S as my keys were locked in my car, and the locksmith said hed arrive in 15 minutes. He was to my car within 5 and had it unlocked within 7. We had to wait for my friend to bring me money since I am a broke college student, and the locksmith was patient and nice to talk to while we waited, and he even gave us a crash course on how to jump a car since my battery had died with the keys in the ignition the night before! I dont plan on locking my keys in my vehicle again anytime soon, but if I do, Im definitely calling F & S again.

I was locked out of my house with two toddlers inside. After calling another locksmith first and being told very rudely that it would be 25 minutes, my friend called F&S. She spoke with Jeff, he told her it would also be 25 minutes before he could get there. He then proceeded to talk my friend through the process of unlocking the door with a credit card. And it worked!! He was willing to help and I was able to get to my kids!! I WILL call F&S next time first!!! Great customer service!!!!

I recently purchased a new home and wanted the locks re-keyed. When I called F&S Lockout Service they were courteous and listened to my request. F&S Lockout Service quoted me $20 per lock to re-key and gave me a time frame for when the locksmith would arrive. He came on time and within the time frame given. The locksmith was courteous, professional, and worked within a reasonable time. I would use F&S Locksmith Lockout Service again,

Ive been unfortunate enough to lock my keys in my car twice in the last two months, once in elletsville and once on walnut. Speedy service and a reasonable rate both times. Tonight they came out in a lightening storm, as pleasant as could be, and had me on the road within 25 mins of the time I called them. Quick service but great and genuine employees! Gonna have to start sending Christmas cards if my luck keeps going at this rate!

Ive used this service a couple of times. the first time I asked them to be there when I left work and they were there waiting for my as soon as I was walking to my car. the second time I asked them to come asap and they were there in minutes. They can quickly unlock your car without causing any damage. Fast and friendly service, would definitely use again.

Locked keys in car. Tried my best to unlock with coat hanger to no avail. Read reviews on 3 or 4 locksmiths in the local area....selected F&S. Told me $50 and would arrive in 45 min. Locksmith arrived in 40 min. Very personable. Unlocked in 2 minutes. Charged me $50. He sure made it look easy. Geesh! F&S is the ticket. Visiting from Ft. Worth Texas.

Locked myself out of my car when I went back to grab something from my office at 10:30pm. Closest geographical result in Google, and he was there in about 5 minutes. Takes credit card using Square which was convenient. Polite and very quick. $45 for an after hours call is about right. Its $35 during the day.

So my key literally broke off in my apartment door. It was too late to call any other service, luckily f&s is opened 24 hrs. The locksmith was here in 20 mins and was gone 7 mins later. He was very personable. Sucked that I got locked out of my apartment but I definitely recommend f&s.
