GREAT PLACE! The people are extremely friendly and welcoming. Being my 1st time at a place can always be awkward not knowing where to go or sit or what, but they were super friendly and even offered us free drinks when we went in. The hair cut itself was with Ali and she did a tremendous job. She took time and listened to what I wanted and did just that. I have curly hair so it is hard to get right, but she did a great job. The facial/masseuse lady, Ciere, was extremely sweet and helped us feel welcome. The salon itself is wonderful, it has all new state of the art equipment and comfy chairs and was clean. It felt like a treat getting my hair cut there. My mom got her hair done and loved it. And she got a facial and LOVED it as well. Waiting room is super comfy and the whole atmosphere of the place was relaxing not chaotic at all . Best of all they took their time and I didnt feel like it was rushed. This is my new "go-to" salon now. Prices are great too!

I will never go to this salon again. Those people who say its like a salon in a big city..... Im not sure where you have been but no! I had two people work on my hair? Dont know why, because the result was horrible! Terrible. They were friendly but Im going in to get a haircut not make friends. Id rather have a good cut. I brought two items, which the owner (one of the two people who worked on my hair ) told me were the best, they were no better than anything else. I spent over $100 with items and tip for a really shitty haircut. Such a disappointment. Ive started waiting and getting my haircut in Washington, DC. For all those people who love this place, I challenge you to go anywhere ($5 cuts are us or whatever), anywhere. I would bet the quality of the cut would be the same and youd save money. Notice many positive reviews are anonymous. I will never go to this please again.

I absolutely love Senoj-I have always sort of gone "wherever" to get a haircut, but this is the first place I have been a loyal customer. The first time I went, Brittni listened to what I wanted, and executed it to a "T" - I have never received so many compliments on my haircut in my life! Even though Brittni is leaving (sad!), I was thoroughly impressed with how well Senoj handled one of their stylists leaving; I got a personal email from the owner, who told me that my stylist had left detailed notes on the formulas and services provided, and made sure that my client file was updated. I know that Senoj looks out for their customers-they have created a loyal customer base here in Bloomington, and I simply can not recommend them enough! The salon is beautiful, the products are amazing, and everyone there is friendly and engaging.

In my opinion, this is the ONLY salon in Bloomington you can count on to get service and style that you will feel great about (and I have been to quite a few). From beginning to end my visit was awesome, Elizabeth listened to my laundry list of ideas and concerns about what I wanted done (major color change and cut) and because of her competency and confidence in her craft, while maintaining dedication to my vision, I felt relaxed and enjoyed the whole experience very much. It was apparent she knew and understood what I was after, while also making some professional suggestions which made the look better than I had envisioned. In the end I was thrilled with my hair and will be going back in the future. I can recommend Senoj to a first timer, or as thee salon you will want to return to over and over again.

Ive been looking for a new salon and stylist for quite a while, and finally found what I was looking for. Katie Ladyman was awesome and her work is amazing. I was a little disappointed that the online price started at $25 and it ended up being $40 + tip, but it included a great head massage, and a hand massage. The salon chairs are to die for. In fact I wanted to bring one home! I will certainly be back in the future for any salon needs! Katie was like talking to an old friend. I valued her honesty when we talked about me going Gwen Stefani blonde. Just a fantastic all-around experience.

These designers were not only professional but very inviting. Elizabeth went through the gauntlet when it came to my questioning and obviously she had great rapport with her staff and clients that was clearly displayed by the atmosphere that she cultivates. Not only was my designer Rebecca receptive and warm but definitely helped me figure out what I needed to do. Even when I wandered in the wrong door I was treated like I had been there a hundred times. Please go see these wonderful people and treat yourself to an exceptional experience. Thanks for treating me well!

This place is new, so i was a little timid to get my hair cut here, but I saw it won Best of Bloomington in the IDS and decided to give it a shot. Im glad i did! I like my hair really short, and the shorter the hair, the more apparent mistakes are. However, Patty did an excellent job! She was very professional, polite, and made my visit very enjoyable, not to mention the awesome cut. The actual salon is top notch as well and easily deserves the award. Ill definitely be coming back and i encourage anyone else to give it a try! You wont regret it!

Elizabeth Robinson is an artist with hair! She has the creative expertise to give you everything you asked for -- and so much more. She is incredible with color and the products Senoj use are top, top of the line...they look, feel and last beautifully! The new salon is so comfortable and uber-chic and modern. Really a pleasant experience - thanks to all of the Senoj staff. I have been a customer of Elizabeths for three years and would follow her anywhere...but am sooooo glad she is here in Bloomington.

Dark, hard to find, sometimes I have to wait for the shop to open after 10am. Nicely decorated, but I dont go to the salon for decorations. I have used the same stylist several times, Patty, and although very nice and personable, shes totally spacy. She stares off into the distance while washing my hair and forgets to scrub my head. She never cuts it the way I ask and though it looks nice when I leave, it doesnt the day after. Choppy, no thinning or texturing, and shes a chatterbox.

Very cool and modern facility. Staff was friendly and fun. I was (am still!) very pleased with my haircut and style. Everyone working there seemed to enjoy being there, and the whole experience was a treat. I am a shy person and am slightly afraid of salons, because it always seems like the people there are either too talkative or completely dead silent. I never felt uncomfortable at Senoj. They are real professionals who care about their work and clients. Planning to return.

I had a fantastic moment at Senoj yesterday. I am in Bloomington since two years and I dont understand why I did not go there before! I am a shy person, and I am french, so its never easy to explain what I want. I had Kate, she listened to me, she made sure to understand what I wanted by showing me different pictures, she has been wonderful! And she is very competent. I enjoy the hair cut :) And... 25$ !!! I think thats the first time I pay that to have a nice hair cut!
