I have had a storage unit here since around 2012. It was great when I started there. My climate controlled, 5x5 unit was $33 a month. The price has more than doubled since I have been there. For a short time I needed an extra space to store household items including furniture. This unit was on the lower level and inside. I killed a roach the size of the ones in Louisiana recently. The worst part is that the furniture now had mold on it, so that has to be remediated. This turned out to be non-climate controlled storage when I believe I was told it was climate controlled. I never had these problems upstairs. So I obtained a 10X10 upstairs where I know it is climate controlled. The price was no different, either. I thank Nick for his help in making this possible. He is probably the best part of this facility. I see the rent going up and up and I see lights that dont come on without walking around, I see the bugs...its just going downhill from lack of investing money in the property. If you rent here, you will like Nick and he will be excellent. If you get an Internet special, that will be it and the price will go up every year. Get a climate controlled until if you are storing furniture and maybe even put a plastic paint cloth down as a barrier to protect your possessions. Im still there and I rented again, so clearly this is not a horrible place. I like it a lot, Im just disappointed for the lack of maintenance and reinvestment of my rental fees. Like everyone else who lies to themselves, I plan to get rid of these things and end my storage life ASAP. It hasnt happened in five years...sooooo Im paying about $2000 a year and in five years it will be $10,000 paid to store what is probably worth about $3000. Thats not counting what Ive already paid. Find a unit online and save money in the first year. Units are hard to get, so you know its acceptable to most. Thanks again to Nick for all of his effort and kindness.

I have been with Public Storage in Carmel for little over 1 month and I am completely impressed with Abby and the staff . I own a company and I came to see Abby asking if she would be able to support my needs as a small business, I was needing storage!! Like a true professional she gave me the confidence in the facility and feeling that I do not have to worry about my products at the storage or the deliveries which tend to happen everyday. Best part about Public Storage in Carmel is all you have to do is ask if you need anything and Abby & the staff have answers with a smile. The process of signing up with the unit was extremely easy and I could check this off my long list of to dos!!! I enjoy driving up knowing all is good at my unit and Abby has taken care of me. Abby went the extra mile to get snowed cleared away from the unit size we needed and get the door fix for us to move in! Brian answered all of our questions on the day we signed our lease, and Abby has checked in with me several times to make sure everything is satisfactory. Its rare to find businesses that make sure you feel there is a relationship rather than just being another tenant. Incredibly thankful that we were able to store our "home" here while in between houses and trust that it will be safe! Great access point in Carmel, convenient, and well monitored. Abby was very cordial and helpful in providing us with various storage options to meet our needs with the least expense. She was also extremely efficient and proficient in working with us to complete the necessary forms for renting a new storage unit. Abby even offered possible cost effective solutions for our future packing requirements and provided a loaner lock until we move items out of the previous storage unit. We highly recommend working with Abby as the manager of this facility and hope her management recognizes her value to us and other customers.

I have been a customer here for 15 years. What separates Public Storage from others is the people. The managers are very friendly. If I ever need anything (seldom) they are very responsive. I know they appreciate my business. Linda and Abbey, the two most recent managers, are the best! The property is always clean. While my company pays the rent, I have the option to move. That is not going to happen any time soon, if ever. They only give me reasons to stay! Mark C.

I have had a storage unit at Public Storage of Carmel for over 3 years now. I have not had any problems and the staff were always quick to respond when I had questions. When I decided to downsize to a smaller unit, it required me being there for several days in a row for long hours. Abby was so helpful and nice during this time! She is there to help people and it shows. I would highly recommend this storage unit especially the indoor climate control units.

I came into public storage to buy supplies for my move to carmel. I dont rent a unit there but was told by a friend that I could get packing supplies. Abby was very helpful with that. I was excited to find special boxes for packing dishes, and they did keep them safe through the move :). Also she pointed out the mattress protectors, which were perfect and cheap! Thanks again for helping make my move easier!

Great service from Abby but the units are not clean. Mice are in the larger units, that you pay a premium for, excess amount of bugs, moisture and water all are issues. You must be certain to protect all of your belongings. Id go elsewhere as this is a very old and unmaintained facility. Also, the reason everything is a 5 star is because youre asked to rate it prior to move-in.

My wife and I went this location to rent our storage unit, and I must say the customer service by Mike the property manager was great, he was very knowledgeable about the property and size unit that we would need. I would definitely recommend public storage in Carmel for anyone who is looking to store their household items. Great job mike
