The prices are high and the employees are snotty. Ive been going to Deering on Capitol for about a year. Recently, two things happened that have prompted me to find another dry cleaner. A few weeks ago, my husband picked up some clothes that I had dropped off for cleaning, they charged him for an extra pair of pants that they said I hadnt paid for the last time I was in. When he asked why they let me take the pants without paying they said it was because they are nice. This implies I did not have money to pay and they sent me off with an IOU agreement. I know with 100% certainty that this did not happen. Perhaps they did not bill me correctly for a pair of pants, but I always pay the check with barely a glance at the receipt. Husband paid for the mystery pants and moved on. If it had just been that one incident, no biggie, but they also ruined a black dress. It was returned completely grey and without apology or even pointing it out. My recommendation would be to stay far far away from Deering.

I will be a Deering Cleaners customer for life. I dropped all of my suits off over the weekend to be cleaned before my 3 job interviews the next week. Well, on Monday at 7:15 pm I realized that I had forgotten to pick them up, and I had a 5 am flight to catch for my first interview the next day. I frantically called Deering, and miraculously they answered even though they had been closed for 15 minutes. The woman on the phone was very kind and told me that she would be happy to stay late for me to come pick up my suits (her exact words). When my husband arrived to pick them up, they would not even accept a tip. I am so grateful for the very, very kind and compassionate people at Deering. I will never take my clothes anywhere else! PS On top of everything, the suits looked great!

Exceeded expectations! Took my mothers wedding veil she made for her wedding in 1974 since I am wearing it for my own wedding in November. Wanted to have someone take a look to see if the lace could be restored, and Greg at the Capitol location was more than happy to take a look. In just a week, he was able to make the 42 year old veil look brand new! It is beautiful and my mom and I are both excited I get to have it be my "something old" for the big day. Words just cannot express my gratitude to Greg and the staff at Deerings for helping keep such a precious piece within my family.

My wife and I work in customer service and we know how taxing it may be dealing with customers. I drop off / pick up my clothes from here 2 - 3 times / week and I usually go out of my way to make the workers laugh or smile. Even though I do think it should be the other way around, I dont mind. The problem lies in the fact that sometimes you cant even get a friendly smile or eye contact. On top of that, as many times I come in, I still dont think anyone remembers my name. I am happy with the service you provide, this feedback, to me, is the difference of 4 stars and 5 stars.

I am a Loss Prevention Officer with the JW Marriott Indianapolis here in Indianapolis, Indiana. I recover lost items for our guest. However, Deering Cleaners have been my back-up. They have located specialty items for me that are required at work. They have never let me down, yet. Great service!!! Antonio sends his very best. I really enjoy having my clothes laundered at Deering. However, the promise of having my clothes delivered as been a mess. Deering needs to dry clean its delivery crew. They need to know that they are represent Deering Cleaners.

I live in Richmond, an hour and a half away, and have suffered with bad dry cleaning for 18 years. I have recently started bringing my clothes to Deering on Capitol. My wardrobe is very expense, and every piece is designer. You have done a fantastic job with everything. Great service, great cleaning, and great staff. Meme at the Capitol store personally handles my account, and she is an amazing employee. She is efficient, smart, and delightful to talk to once a week. She is your biggest asset!! Horrible service, the counter girls were rude and it was Drama just to find my clothes and the prices are way too high, if i would of known i NEVER would of went. one of my buttons was ripped off and NO REFUND, i dont want store credit im not coming back. And it was like that was normal for them to be soo rude to customers and have no real customer service, dont even bother with the manger Angie when you have a problem she was a complete bit ch.

I absolutely love Deering Cleaners. The quality of cleaning and attention to detail is excellent. The staff are friendly and always accommodating when I need something back very quickly. I get all of this AND reasonable pricing. To get this level of quality Ive had to pay much more for dry cleaning in the other cities Ive lived in. Thank you Deering Cleaners. Professional and timely-very good quality of work. I have tried several cleaners in town and I have had the worst experiences ever. My wife and I have used Deering Cleaners as our primary cleaners for more than two years. The service and staff at Deering have always been superior. They are the best cleaners I have ever been to. They cleaned my wedding dress that had dirty all along the bottom and it was embellished with beads and it turned out great! Theyve been so nice throughout the years, and its the only place I go! The prices are fair for the quality you get. It is superb!

This was my first visit to Deering Cleaners and I took one of my most difficult pieces to be cleaned -- a pink 100% linen blazer. When I picked it up I was amazed for two reasons: 1) the price was very reasonable, and 2) it looked great! No other cleaner has done such a good job on that blazer.
