The mechanics at Hobbs are great. They fix what needs to be fixed at a fair price, tell you what might need to be done in the near future, and let you know what doesnt need to be that might have been recommended by another mechanic. The owner is a great guy who does anything he can to help you, and the community. The front desk staff does a great job of main site that you understand everything without talking down to you. We stopped by here on our way to Pennsylvania. We were hearing funny noises in the car. They got us right in, had a place for us (four kids and three adults!) to sit, figured out the problem and fixed it (lug nuts were loose on all tires! Yikes!), and charged us nothing. They were very kind.

The will give you a hopeless repair bill wait for you to call for a scrap price and then offer a few dollars more than scrap only to repair it themselves and resell for a big profit big crooks avoid unless you like to be hosed
