Not really sure where some of these low reviews have come from. They must have cleared out some of the bad employees recently because I had one of the best experiences Ive had in a long time with an auto repair shop. I have a vehicle that has a really stubborn rough idle problem that was getting worse. I had replaced five or six parts on the car and taken it to four different repair shops with no success at all. I was going to throw in the towel and chuck my car into a lake at this point when I just randomly took my car to this place. It took them an hour and forty five minutes to diagnose and replace what was a bad O2 sensor and now it runs great. I took my vehicle in on the weekend and they were packed already at 8:00 am. The best thing was that I didnt see any mechanic shuffling around doing nothing. They were constantly working on a vehicle and even when they were to capacity on work they still took in more customers. You would think they would slow way down at that point, but the turnaround time was still reasonable at a couple of hours. I hope this continues with this shop because honestly we dont have very good options at all here on the east side. It was refreshing to finally have my car fixed without dishonest mechanics just taking my money and booting me to the curb. Great group of guys. I will get any issues with my car fixed with them in the future. Another thing though you might want to get in early because they dont take appointments.

I had a chirping noise coming from my belt and I was getting a squeaking noise when I turned on my defroster, so I took my jeep to another car x location and they told me I needed a heater motor and serpentine belt. Well I paid over 1000.00 to them for fixing the problem , and not soon after I started to hear the chirping noise again. I took it back to the one on East Washington st, and left it to fix. They called me back and said it was fixed. I drive for a little while and guess what? Yes, the chirping noise was right back! I then was determined to not take my car back to them, so I went on the internet and found that car x on shadeland had good reviews, so I took the chance and went to the one on shadeland. I asked them to check the chirping noise I was hearing and let me know. About 3 hours later, they called and said my car needed another belt and because my belt was replaced by the previous belt I paid for from Washington st, there was no charge. Why am I saying this? Because the guys from shadeland knew what they were doing and when I started up my car, there was no more churning sounds! I have now been driving for over 5 days now, and I hear nothings nothing from my hood! These mechanics know knows their stuff about repairing a vehicle and if I need any more services done, it will be through this shadeland location!

Arrived at 9:15 am for an oil change. Was told it would be about an hour. It was a Saturday, and it was pretty busy. Checked back with the guy at counter at 10:45am, was told maybe another 30 minutes before they could look at my car. Went back to the counter at 11:15am, was told that it was not going to be until 2pm until it would be ready. Needless to say I decided to leave and take my business elsewhere. Ive heard good things about this place in the past, but 5 hours for an oil change? If it was gonna be that long, why not just tell me so from the beginning.

I have never had a great experience with car repair/oil change places until coming here. I never would have expected such excellent customer service and friendly staff. They were informative, helpful, and patient. Regardless of how busy they are or how minor a repair may be, they explain things to you and let you know costs up front so you dont wind up with sticker shock at the end. Great place to use and its where I will continue to go for all my car care needs!

Service was excellent. Staff was very friendly and the service was quick. I went in for an oil change and had asked them to check my tires because the low pressure light was on. The mechanic who worked on my car was the one who came and talked to me about my car so that was nice. He was informative and I wasnt pressured to buy other unneeded products/services, I only paid for what I went in for. I was very satisfied with my experience!

Long story short... Paid for repairs on my vehicle and within a rather short period of time, same repairs were needed again. This place also caused additional damage to my vehicle. The manager (Jack) attempted to deceive me, but I caught him in several lies trying to cover up his horrible workmanship! Stay away from this place! There are reputable shops out there who are honest and stand behind their work.

Was told an hour wait for an oil change. No biggie. I then watched 3 oil changes get done before my car was serviced. Questioned them about it. And they said I was put on the service side of the board instead of the oil change side. Didnt offer me any discount. I strongly recommend people go to the Washington street location this one is a joke.

I was not happy at all with this place. I went in for a oil change at 11:15 didnt leave until 3:23 and that is only because I finally got feed up with the wait. Had 2 people come in hours after me and get done before me..The guy who claimed to be there for 40 years was very rude I will never come back to this place..

Was told that there was a hour & a half wait but Tim could take care of me that same day so that was fine .. went up there when I was suppose to and was told that they couldnt do my oil change. I couldve went else where !

Terrible customer service. The guy forgot about my car about an hour into my wait. They told me about an hour wait and I have been here 2.5 hours and still waiting for an oil change. Never coming back
