This place tried to tack on a bunch of work/parts that did not need to be done then lied about it when I called them on it. They quoted me for $2700 worth of repairs on a car that is worth $2000. Most of what they tried to do or replace did not need to be done and their markup on parts is absolutely outrageous. A part which did not even need to be replaced they were going to charge me $550 for (not including labor), the same part at napa mid range is only $219. Thing is that this part did not need to be replaced and I told them that I didn’t think it need replaced but they insisted it did. I was told that it had a hole which was complete B.S. because I took it to another mechanic to verify and the problem that it would have caused post repair was not there. I ended up getting the car repaired Lawrence Auto Care for $590, total. Professional auto also tried to charge me $90 to de-grease my engine. Really? Like i really want to spend $90 to de-grease the engine on a 20 year old car. Even if they did not to add on every single thing they can, they still charge more for labor and markup.

This rating is on customer service alone. Im a 1st time customer and did an overnight drop for early morning service. The next morning, no one from Professional Automotive made initial contact to even thank me for choosing their business. I was not contacted at all. After 3 hours of waiting I had to call myself to check the status of my vehicle to see if it had been received or not. As a first time customer this was not very comforting. They shouldve called by 8am and told me that they received my vehicle, but due to the work load it would be late in the day before they could look at my vehicle (actually got to my car after 1pm). I would have been more satisfied with that than no call at all. But once I was finally greeted all the staff was friendly and professional. I have not had the vehicle long enough to rate the actual quality of work done to the vehicle.

I originally had a 5 star review here. I took my shop in a year ago, almost to the day, to get my alternator fixed. It got fixed (expensively, but I trusted the establishment), and all was good. Until this week when, unexpectedly, my power steering went out midturn, almost causing me to crash. Then my car wouldnt start again. What was the problem? It was a bad alternator! The stop literally gave me a bad/poorly refurbished alternator (charging me hundreds for the parts alone), which lasted less than a full year. As much as I like to support mom and pop companies, dont waste your money and possibly endanger your family (luckily I didnt crash when my lack of power steering froze up my steering wheel) by going into this shop.

Professional Automotive consistently provides excellent service on our vehicles and superior customer service that cant be matched elsewhere! Professional Automotive is the service facility I recommend to everyone... for they provide honest and reliable services that arent over priced and exceed the bare minimum service I have received elsewhere. When I leave there facility, I know that I was treated fairly and my vehicle has received the highest service possible. I especially appreciate their preventive attitude for maintenance and their desire provide an atmosphere with top-notch service. Whether it is for an oil change, tune-up, or major repair - Professional Automotive is where my vehicles will go.

I visited Professional Automotive for a second opinion. After waiting about 45-60 minutes, they gave me price quotes for repairs even though, upon questioning, they admitted that they did not look at some of these specific areas of the car. They were basing just upon the previous repair shops opinion .. I did not come in for a PRICE QUOTE on parts/repair ....I came in for a second OPINION on whether repairs were needed in the first place and I made that very clear. They also will send you annoying follow-up mailings asking when you are bringing in your car for the "repairs". Caveat Emptor.

Ive been taking my cars to Professional Automotive for two years. They keep a computerized record of work performed, consistently exceed my expectations in terms of quality, and sometimes come in under their initial estimates of time and cost. They also advise me of possible trouble spots so I can choose to them them done at my leisure instead of as emergencies. They also provide drop-off service if I cant get a ride to/from. Moreover, they have made a real effort to get to know me and my cars, something no one at any other facility has ever done before. I would highly recommend them.

After switching automotive places several times because of increased fees and decreased service I finally found a place that is honest and doesnt try to up-sell things you dont need. Great waiting area and Brandon is extremely friendly and helpful. You wont find a better set of guys to work on your car. I take all 3 of mine here for everything. They even put a new engine in my fathers care for over a g note less than the dealership wanted. 5+ stars.

They were honest and educated. They werent sure about how to identify my problem, but instead of lying to me, like my dealership did, they made an educated suggestion that did, in fact, fix my problem within seconds and it cost me nothing. Not even time because they checked out my vehicle immediately. From here on out, I only trust this place with my Subaru.
