I took my brothers truck in because it was driving really rough. One of the guys offered to ride around with me to see if he could figure out the sound. He thought it was the brakes. I asked if I could bring it back tomorrow because I was in the middle of moving. He explained it would be unsafe and only add more damage and cost. They drove me home, and started Inspecting the truck. About an hour later the owner called me explaining that the truck would need an entire front end brake repair. He explained he would give me $100 off because I was a new customer and he wanted to earn my business. I explained it was my brothers truck and I would need to talk to him before any work was done. Butch (the owner) said my brother could call him to discuss the problems. Instead I had my dad call to discuss what was going on and the cost. Butch was very reasonably priced and made the entire experience very easy! He is EXTREMELY trustworthy. I look forward to having an experienced and trusted mechanic in the Indianapolis area!

Good, quick service, no gouging on prices. I brought my 99 Honda Civic to Auto King to replace my CV axles, front brake pads, and discs while I was going out of town for a couple days. Id tried doing it myself, but had issues with getting it apart and no other shop in the area would do the job with my parts. The guys worked so quick that I got a call from them before I even left the airport to let me know it was done. When I got back to pick it up, the labor rate I was charged was reasonable, the work appeared to be well done, and they didnt charge me for storage for the extra days my car was left in their lot. That was 3 month ago, if the work hadnt been done well it wouldve shown by now. I will definitely use them next time I need to fix something thats beyond my ability.

I have happily spent over 2k in repairs. However my last diagnostics will be the last 250$ I spend in this shop. They misdiagnosed my vehicle saying that the crank shaft was out when the computer was never giving this code, when all that was wrong was a temperature sensor (which I told them had visibly stopped working days before). It took them two days to lie to me and take in mind I trusted this shop so much I paid to have it towed 25 mi to the shop. Here is the ringer they wanted to charge me 950.00 to repair a crankshaft sensor that wasn’t broke (pocket money) and a temperature sensor that I repair myself with a flathead that sits under the air intake. Rant over!

Very reasonable rates. Knowledgeable staff. I do a lot of DIY work on my cars, but I take my cars to AutoKing for those jobs that require special machine/tool or lift. Most of jobs I bring to them, I know exactly whats needed - and they know what they are doing, and it shows. Their rate is decent, even for a seasoned DIYer like me. Nobodys perfect in auto repair shop business, and Im sure these guys make mistakes. But Ill take my chance with these guys instead of sifting through another 10 shops (10 chances to get ripped off) to find one that might be marginally better at best.

Before I found Autoking I took our cars to corporate branded shops and lube centers just to get ripped off and receive poor quality work. Butch and his crew at Autoking are very professional, honest, and their work is modestly priced. When they say the oil change will cost 22.00 they mean it and the 5th oil change is also free. I recently had my brakes repaired here after receiving a very high estimate at one of the well known brake shops and Autoking was able to do the work at 1/3 the cost of the high estimate.

I received phenomenal service from everyone I encountered at Auto King. I took my van in because it needed a new timing belt and brakes and they took great care of me and I could tell they genuinely cared about myself and my kids safety. They were straight forward about the charges and I didnt feel like I was being taken advantage of. I will ONLY use Auto King from now on for any of my vehicles. Thank you so much!

I really wish I could give zero star. These people are just some cheats running an auto business. Really disappointed. They marked up the price of parts to almost 100% higher. They charged me $556 just to replace an alternator that cost $196. And guess what we were good customers who thought they were good people and wanted to be loyal but no more. Stay away before u become the next victim
