Was there for a routine oil change and to rotate/balance my tires...A few weeks after, I noticed that my fuel performance had decreased significantly. After I had another mechanic look into the problem, the found old rags stuffed in my air intake, along with some scrap metal, a few nuts and bolts, and some grease like substance... When I called the head mechanic, he told me that it was probably the 2nd mechanic showing me these items just to get me to buy something…However, I know that’s not the case because after some research, I found that a rag or any blockage in my air-intake, would greatly reduce my fuel performance. Bummer, because the place is so close to my work… We also pulled our fleet vehicle contract because they put the incorrect amount of oil in our trucks on three separate occasions…

went there monday to get antifreeze leak checked, spent $650. i was told that the manifold needed replaced, and then i needed an oil change, temperature gauge needed replaced and, oh yeah, youre drive belt looks bad too. found out later, it could have been done for half the price at a different place. two days later, the check engine light comes on and they cant get my car in until the next day. i drove my car across the street to get gas then it died...completely dead. i had the car towed to this place, they call me back and now say that i need a new alternator ($280) and a new battery ($130) and $350 for labor PLUS they charged me $37 just for looking at my car!! After calling a few places, i found three car shops that would charge $350 parts and labor. i will not be calling this place EVER again.

the WORST service i have ever seen. i was told it would take a few hours to fix my car but they didnt have time today. in the morning i took my car there and they said they would look at it but wouldent tell me how long. it was still ok untell a few hours later i called to check on my car and they wouldent tell me if they would look at it today. i said i need to get it done today if you cant i would like to see if i cant get it done somewhere else. the service manager called me back and said with a tone"sounds like you have an attitude and we wont look at it at all come get your keys" all i wanted to know is if they would look at it today or not and that was to much for castleton auto repaire

I found this repair shop through Angies List. They had an outstanding rating, so I gave them a try. I went to them for a second opinion because I thought the dealership was seriously jumping the gun on a repair. Turns out I was right. On my second trip they took a lot of time to discuss my options for replacing rotors and brake pads. Excellent customer service! They were willing to install any parts I bought for $160, which meant I got high end rotors and pads rather than standard replacements and saved about 35% from the dealership quote.

I have been here several times and after my most recent visit I will never be returning. I had taken my car in to be worked on and upon recieving it, noticed that the problem was not fixed and new problems had also appeared! When I took it back to have it looked at I was met with a terrifyingly angry and irrational owner. I have never in my life been treated this way! It was a horrifying experience that left me afraid and out several hundred dollars.

Excellent customer service and knowledgeable mechanics. This is one of those shops where you can rest assured they arent trying to gouge you for anything extra. Id wondered if I needed to replace my oil pan connection at the same time they changed a different gasket to stop an oil leak. They wisely advised me to wait and see how the gasket change did before spending more on the oil pan. Turned out I didnt need to have the oil pan worked on.

Ive taken both my vehicles to this shop for a few of years. More than once, Ive been astonished by their honesty in telling me I didnt need something. In my experience, Ive always been very satisfied with their work performance. Repairs always done correctly, auto returned in a timely manner and prices appear to be fair. Facility is also clean unlike many other garages Ive encountered over the years.

I have taken my cars there for years even though I live near Mooresville. I trust them. They tell you when NOT to do service and are really great. I read some other reviews and couldnt believe the stuff people said. They must have been a really random mistake because I have had nothing but great luck with them. I have my mom and wife take there cars there too. Theyre GREAT and reasonable.

Brought in my 03 escalade to replace wheel hub assembly, (no appointment) and he fixed it with in about an hour. No price gouging or even trying to find stuff that didnt need fixed. These guys are fair and honest, I will definitely be bringing my vehicles here anytime I have a problem.

Got my front wheel bearings replaced on my 2010 Jetta. They did a great job although the total was about $200 higher than the estimate. They did work with me and gave a 15% discount. I had to resituate one of my brake rotor dust covers too but it was a simple fix. I would go back.
