On 8/27/10 I was on my way home, I lost my turn signals and blower motor (a Jeep Grand Cherokee thing I guess). I do not recall the gentlemans name that assisted me but he was AWESOME! I had a blown fuse, he helped me find what I needed, followed me out to my Jeep and proceeded to assist me because I am sure that he could tell that I was frustrated. After I replaced and blew a couple more fuses he proceeded to check other electrical possibilities that could be causing the fuses to blow. Then... during all the BS, I lock my keys in the Jeep, I have never done this in the 53 years I have been on this planet! The clerk says calmly, "Let me go get a coat hanger" as he smiles and walks away. I get the Jeep unlocked and he is ready to go back to work on my Jeep! I dont know about Robs experience/post on 6/23/10 but Im here to tell you that the level of service I experienced was AWESOME! :-) After probably 20 minutes, I felt bad for wasting the clerks time, I thanked him for everything and went on my way. I manage a retail business with 20-million in annual sales and have for the last 32+ years, I wished I had this guy on my team! Sorry I did not get his name... But you can bet that I WILL SURE AS HECK BE BACK! :-) Thanks! Keep up the great work!

I stopped in around 5 oclock in the afternoon on a hot day and as I pulled up an Autozone employee by the name of Duane Gonzalez was outside and greeted me. As I got out of my car he asked if I needed any help and so I popped the hood and showed him what I was dealing with. Not only did Duane help me, he explained what exactly I needed and why I needed it. It all made sense to me and he then even suggested other maintenance items I would need to address here shortly as well. Duane went inside with me and got the items I needed and then proceeded to check me out. He then went out with me to make sure I was doing everything correctly and suggested several good shops in the area in which he takes his own vehicles to. Although my car is a POS I was still overly satisfied with the customer service, knowledge, and general helpfulness that Duane provided. Best Autozone experience Ive ever had and will most certainly return when I need to!

I used to frequent this Autozone quite a bit because its only a few minutes from my home, so anytime I needed sandpaper, paint, hand tools, etc. for my automobile I would stop here. However, that will no longer be the case. I stopped in the store today to get some sandpaper and waited over 10 minutes to check out with several employees just standing behind the counter ignoring me. Another gentleman comes in and gets IMMEDIATE service from one of the folks who was just standing around. They check him out right next to me, having seen me standing there the entire time, patiently waiting. They then ask me if I need anything after I stood there trying to get help for at least 10 minutes. Im used to waiting for service here because there are usually few employees working, but this kind of blatant laziness coupled with their ignoring me will make sure I NEVER shop here again.

After being about 2 degrees overnight, my 5.5 year old, original car battery failed to start my car this morning. I was able to get a ride to and from work, then when I got home I got my car jumped and drove to AutoZone at about 6:50 (most places close at 7, AZ stays open until 9. They came right out and checked my alternator and battery and determined my battery was "bad". They found the replacement and changed it, all in about 15 minutes. Excellent!

My car died at the school when I was there to pick up my son. I tried to jump it but it was too far gone. Called up the closest Autozone and they came and installed a new battery for me. Now thats customer service!!
