Apparently this shop is ran by a bunch of incompetent Salesmen (not mechanics). They are more interested in high pressure sales of unneeded parts with a 100% markup than they are in establishing a trustworthy maintenance shop. I know most of these shops have that kind of markup but I was not concerned that they were making money on the part, it was the fact that the part was not needed but the technician was spending to much time working on my vehicle that they were desperate to squeeze more money out of me. By the way this shop buys from the NAPA right down the road then doubles the price for their customers (if you do go to this place bring your own parts or find out what you need then go get them yourself). The technician came out into the waiting area and tried to sell a part, talking as though he was an expert in the field. I declined and told them to just put the parts I brought with me on the vehicle. (Let me warn you, this is after I have been there for 2 hours) About 30 minutes later the same tech wants me to go out to the garage bay so that he can explain to me that its too hard to get the new parts on to the old parts because he would have to clean the rust on the old parts and that he is going to put the old stuff back on and make me leave because he had already talked to the owner. Really? I was given the ultimatum to buy a new part to make his job easier or I had to leave because the owner wanted him to move on to other projects (wasting 3 hours of my time waiting on a simple brake job only to come away with nothing). At this point I felt that my time was more important then another $100, so I agreed to throw away more money at this shop just so they would put the pads on. Once the tech had the new parts, he worked for about an hour then came into the waiting room to apologize for the delay but he had to take the parts back off because he put them on the wrong sides of the car because he didnt realize they were different sizes with different part numbers. Maybe an honest mistake, but 2 hours earlier he was an expert with this exact same part and now he acts like this is his first day on the job. I should have read the other reviews on here before I took my vehicle here. Never again! Everything in these other reviews were exactly the same thing that happened to me. This place wont be around long. You can only screw over so many customers before your reputation makes you drown in a pool of debt. Next time Ill do the job myself or take it to someone that cares about future customers.

Ladies beware..... I took my car in for a brake inspection and needing new brake pads. The owner gave me a ride home so I could work while my car was being serviced. First mistake. An hour and a half later, I get a call giving me a laundry list of items I need repaired, totaling nearly $500. They said I needed REAR: new rotors, new pads, new hardware; FRONT: restoration of rotors, new pads, new hardware. After I told them that the price was higher than I was looking for, they brought it down to $400. It was that easy? Why wouldnt they just quote me a fair price in the beginning? They wanted to use a higher quality ceramic pad, rather than the ones that were on sale. He then proceeded to compare rotors to makeup so I would understand, since Im a female (I must be dumb and incompetent). Very offensive. They said my rear rotors had been worn below the regulations by the state and needed replaced. They like to replace the hardware if its rusted out and lube wont allow it to slide anymore. Mine werent rusted. They were fine. I asked for them to come pick me up and show me the wear on the rotors. Great idea! I got back there and they stumbled all over themselves as I asked question after question. Turns out they werent worn.....just a rust ring.....I just needed new brake pads, and new brake pads only. Less than $200... Not only did they belittle my intelligence, but they wasted my entire morning.... I dropped my car off at 7:30am and didnt get out of there until after 11:30am. If they wouldve quoted me a fair price for what I needed and only what I needed, rather than trying to screw me out of $300, they wouldve saved labor hours and I couldve gone into work at a decent time. The quality of the actual service performed was good, as far as I know. If you are a man that can talk shop, this is a good place for you. Ladies, do your research before you go in and/or make them walk you through everything they are going to do before you give them the green light. Overall, I was offended, they wasted my time, but the service was performed.

I came in, to have diagnostics run as my car was losing coolant and overheating. They said it would be at least $3200 to fix a head gasket and more. They tried to upsell to an entire new engine for $4000. FIRST OF ALL, I called my trusted auto mechanic and they said the work for the head gasket would only cost $1600, HALF of what these guys claimed. SECONDLY, After taking the car to my trusted auto care facility, Kents in Noblesville (RECOMMEND!), they said the only thing wrong was a busted radiator cap and it cost $53. Im absolutely astounded that these gentlemen would have the audacity to try and scam someone out of $4000, when there was only a $50 issue. CRAZY. Either they are highly inept at their job or they are the sleaziest business owners around. I prefer to think they are BOTH. I will never go to this location again, I will never go to a Midas again. It shouldnt be so difficult to find an honest and skilled auto mechanic. I highly recommend you dont go here.

AWFUL JUST AWFUL!...Theyre nothing but scammers. they will tell you one thing and then once you pay the "overpriced" tag they then switch up the warranty on you claiming you have to pay an even higher price tag to get the warranty that you thought you previously paid for. They also have inexperienced mechanics there , if you even want to call them mechanics, one of the mechanics left an almost foot long screw driver deep into the front of my car, under my hood and was going to blame it on the age of my car (which isnt that old ) until I told them I wasnt leaving until they figured it out! Honestly , I would not only recommend this particular Midas location ever I would tell a potential customer to run for the hills unless you want your car in a worse condition than what you left it in! After 5yrs of dedicated service from me I am a Very unsatisfied customer and will never pay or visit another Midas in my life thanks to this 1...Just terrible!

I base most of my decisions solely based off of Google reviews so I figured Id give my feedback to help others. I think its a great sign when the owner of a business personally replies to both positive and negative reviews. It shows the type of accountability I want to see from someone Im bringing my car to. When Adrien called me to tell me his diagnostics, he gave me "The good, the bad, and the ugly". One quote being what HAD to be done, and the other two being what COULD be done. He even recommended not doing some of the repairs since they could wait. When I came in to pick my car up, Adrien gave a thorough description of what they did and explained everything in an easy to understand manner (my knowledge of cars is not very extensive). Overall, it was a great experience and I will most certainly be bring my car back.
