In July of 2014 I had my battery replaced at their shop. I went to OReilly 6 months later after my car was having some issues starting. The manager noticed that the cord was not tightened to the terminal. In fact, it came right off without the use of a wrench. After he fixed that, he determined through tests that it was most likely a starter issue. He recommended I go to Malless to have it looked at. I took it to Malless and not once did I ever receive an apology for not correctly replacing the battery. After the car was looked at, they explained the bill would be around $400 which was fine since I had no other option. After reviewing my invoice, I noticed that my starter was a re-manufactured starter that was billed over $110 more than what I could get the part for at Oreillys. I realize that this place has a good reputation and may be a little more expensive then other shops. However, a premium price deserves premium customer service and I did not receive that. I am not a car expert but I was weary that the disconnected battery cables may cause some tension on the starter. They assured me that this wasnt the case even though I found feedback online of this being feasible. In short, an apology or showing some genuine concern for their sub-par service would have probably been enough. It is also worth noting that I sent an email to management regarding this and nothing was done of it. I will not be heading back there.

Well, I spent more money than I actually intended to, but the results were well worth the investment. I think I will make the extra money up in gas mileage alone! I was looking online for a foreign car repair service to repair my KIA Sorento, that had, the equipment and knowledge to do the job correctly. So GLAD that I found MALLESS AUTOMOTIVE. The staff at MALLESS AUTOMOTIVE was incredible helpful in explaining exactly what was needed to repair my vehicle at the time and what would be a good investment for my car in the future. They suggested replacing my spark plugs, since the car had over 120000 miles on it and I could not remember when the plugs had been changed last. Great CALL !!! I didnt think the car was running bad but was I wrong, my gas mileage is up over a third, Their help and expertise was essential in making sure that my vehicle is now in the best driving condition for me and my family. Thank you for exceptional service and your warranty. I Highly Recommended this shop!!!!

I recently had an issue with my vehicle that I thought was from the front struts. I had it checked out with the dealership along with several other warranty items to be fixed. They told me the struts were fine and the noise was just from the age of the vehicle and that it may take several new suspension components to make the noise go away. I decided to only do the warranty work at the dealer and have the front end checked out at Malless. Guess what! The noise was diagnosed as the struts just like I had thought. Two brand new struts later and the noise is gone! The truck rides better than it has in years. These guys are doing it right here at Malless! Give them a try...you will not be disappointed!

My brakes were feeling weird, so I paid the $50 fee to have it looked at. They said I needed to replace the rotars and pads for a cost of nearly 700 dollars. I asked if we could just replace the pads and they said no. I cant afford that, so I drove to Fort Wayne to have my cousin, who has been a mechanic for 40 years, to look at it. Guess what? I only needed the pads replaced. Im so mad I wasted 50 dollars on liars who wanted to screw me over to make money. I want my money back.

Over the years that we have taken our vehicles to Malless, the service has always been excellent and the pricing more than fair. We have recommended Malless to friends and co-workers and they have been very pleased with service. I took my van into the shop to replace a brake light and have the oil changed. The mechanic noticed leaking oil in the rear drive. The shop re-arranged their schedule to get it repaired the same day so that I could go on vacation the next day without fear of having a failure in the rear drive. Im so glad they found this before it failed when on a long trip!

I took a used car here before buying it. One of the great services they perform is a used car inspection for around $99. The inspection saved me a $1000 repair that I asked the dealer to perform before buying the car. No one except Malless will touch our new used car going forward. I trust these guys that much.

Couple of years ago I needed to have a timing chain replaced. I had to work the next day so they let me use one of their vehicles so I could get to work. I thought that was great. The service was good . Their kinda pricey but I guess the use of their vehicle made up for that. Im a satisfied customer.

Ive brought various vehicles to Malless over the past 10 or so years and have always received great service at a fair price. There has been times they couldnt do the actual repair and didnt even charge me for looking at the vehicle. Ive never had a problem with anything repaired at Malless.
