This business was recommended to me by a contractor who stated they do good work for a good price. I called to have an automatic vent relief valve replaced due to leaking water. They were very friendly on the telephone and arrived in a timely manner a couple days later. I was not told about any pricing over telephone. Once the technician arrived, 8:15 am, he determined the problem and left to retrieve parts. The technician returned around 8:40 am, fixed the problem and left at 8:50 am. The technician did a good job fixing the issue and was friendly. When I received the bill, I found that their was a $35 service charge on the bill and that I was charged for 1.5 hours of work at $75 an hour. After speaking to someone at the business about the service charge, I was told this was a charge for drive time and that the technician usually sits outside the residence to complete paperwork. She did call the technician on the phone asking about the 1.5 hours of work. After a short time on the phone, she said she would remove half an hour, but she could not remove the service charge. She said I could speak to the owner the next day and see if he would remove the service charge. The next day, I tried speaking to the owner but he was unavailable, so I spoke to the same lady as before. She told me that the owner would not remove the service charge and would not give back the half hour. Instead, she offered me a friends and family deal where I could pay $15 a month and get a lower service charge and no extra charges for emergency calls for future problems. I would definitely not use this business again! They were friendly and completed the work, however make sure you read the fine print and ask about extra charges. Im not sure why they went back on removing the added half hour which they agreed to refund. I felt like I was being price gouged. I did contact the Better Business Bureau, which they are not accredited with.

Quality Plumbing & Heating provided me with the best service Ive ever had, and I give them 5 stars for excellence! I called them from Kokomo today over a big leak under my kitchen sink, and they arranged to have Seth rush down from Peru to help me out. In the meantime, Seth called me, and walked me through a water shut-down, and arrived shortly after that. Seth certainly does know his plumbing, and had my problem fixed in under ten minutes! Thank you Seth, and Quality Plumbing, and Heating, I am so grateful, and am now a loyal customer for life.

UPDATE: Thank you for contacting me to resolve my issue. I appreciate the care and concern your company provides. Someone needs to teach their drivers how to drive. Tailgating, not using their turn signals, speeding like a bat out of hell, swerving...just a few things I encountered on my drive home tonight going 60 in a 55 with one of their vans so close I couldnt even see his lights.

Love it when someone calls me to set up an appointment for tune ups, means that I dont have to worry about forgetting to do it. Keep up the great work in Kokomo!
