I have a really hard time finding and trusting a stylist with my hair, but I was desperate for a trim when I remembered this salon I was told about by a friend who works in the spa there. Right from the start they were all really nice, and were able to get me in earlier than thought. This salon is a lot more personal, too, and it might take a little getting used to..at least for me. I dont mean that in a bad way-more of a, you get a neck and shoulder massage before a haircut, and while youre at the shampoo bowl, you get a hand and arm massage. Ive never been to a salon thats done either of those things, so it was nice, but very new. If you come here, just relax. Its worth it. And open up to your stylist. Alexis is my stylist and understood everything I was explaining to her about my hair. Every need was met AND they carry Aveda which is nice (but can be on the pricier side.) Im excited to try them out particularly because the shampoo and conditioner I bought is made to enhance reds and dark hair. I plan on keeping Alexis as my stylist from here on out and will most likely lose the anxiety of going in a salon because its always, a new stylist. Its not a place you can bring your four kids unless theyre actually getting their hair done, but Id recommend this place to just about anyone.

The first time that I went to J. Nicolle I had a great experience. The most recent time I was there I saw Alexis to get my roots touched up. She insisted on using foils and then a week later I had an inch of hair that wasnt even touched during my root touch up which should have lasted me 4-5 weeks. I called to try and have her fix it and then was told it was normal and I would be seen. She didnt even offer to correct it. My hair was blonde and a week after being seen by her my hair was yellow and an inch of black at the top and if I put my hair in a bun it was all black underneath. I have never been so dissatisfied with something. I then had to go somewhere else since she did not offer to fix it and pay for it and was told by them that it was done terribly. I do not dislike the salon itself but Alexis needs to take her customers into consideration. I love April and Adam they both do beyond amazing at their job! Overall I will rate the salon a 2 mainly because of my most recent experience with Alexis but I definitely suggest that everyone gives them a shot because every experience is different and perhaps she just had a bad day.

They do a great job with coloring hair but struggle to cut hair. I went in for a trim and to touch up my layers. The girl who cut my hair cut off three inches and tried to put in layers and really struggled. I asked her if she wanted to see the picture again but she said she knew what I wanted and that she put in layers I just couldnt tell because my hair was straightened. I finally gave up paid left and went somewhere else later that week to get layers. I have two friends who had similar experiences one of them they offered to fix but the stylist fixing it said the back was too short to fix what the first stylist had done. So if you are just having your hair colored for sure go here its well priced but get your hair cut somewhere else.

Thanks so much for such a super experience this morning! As a mom of four young boys, being able to schedule a simple haircut is a rare luxury. However, this morning I was treated to a neck/shoulder massage, warm towel, and hand massage - all included with the price of my cut and finish! Im embarrassed to say that it has probably been a year since my last trim....and thats how it has been for about six years - since my oldest son was born. BUT I had such a great time this morning that I have already scheduled my next trim. Meredith, thanks for pampering this worn out mom of four!! :-)

I really liked the cleanliness of the store, and that our technician was there at the counter waiting for us at appoitment time. My daughter was there for her second facial, and was very happy and enthusiastic about her experience/s. I do think they need to improve on their timelyness of responding to customer email though. I had three or four back and forth episodes just trying to get an appt when responding to one of their advertisements.

My family knows the best gift they can give me is a gift certificate for their services. I cant speak highly enough of them. You will not be disappointed.

Do not waste your money on the Day of Bliss package. I bought one for my wife and it was anything but. No lunch was provided and her Mani/Pedi looks like a 6 year old painted her nails. The massages were great and I would recommend those, but if you buy a package you are throwing your money away.

I had them do my make up for my engagement pictures. I loved it so much that we had them do mine and all of my bridesmaids make up for my wedding. They are great to work with and very professional. I highly recommend J. Nicolle Salon to anyone!

Love my stylist ADAM, he keeps me looking great, they know how to pamper you, the aveda products are great and nice atmosphere. Also the massage therapist Jason is amazing and so knowledgeable about your body, muscles and health in general!!!!

I have been here three times for a facial, once for a massage, and each time is better than the last. This place is amazing. The staff is super sweet. Services are very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend to anyone.
