Our family LOVES La Petite!! My son started when he was 2 yrs old and had never been to daycare before. The staff at La Petite made this transition ALOT easier then we expected. My daughter who is now 18mos. started when she was only 6 weeks old, having already known the majority of the staff members made this transition smooth as well. I dont think its easy for any Mom to leave their 6 week old baby with someone other than a family member. At La Petite I truly feel like Im dropping my children off with people that love them. When both of them started I would call almost daily to check on them (sometimes minutes after dropping them off.) Not ONCE did the staff ever get annoyed with me for doing this, they always sounded happy to talk to me and give me a report on the childrens well being. Every morning that we drop off, the instant we open the door I can feel the love for my children and both of them just LIGHT UP!!. I wouldnt take my children to a different daycare for anything, Id drive out of my way every morning if I had to just to keep them at La Petite. I have had kind of a crazy work schedule and they have been helpful while we all get into routine with dropping off very early in the mornings.. I truly feel like I am dropping off my children to people that love and care about them, I have a passion for children so I wouldnt just say this if I didnt really feel this way as I would not want ANY child to be mistreated. The director is an all around amazing woman, to say the least. I would recommend this daycare to anyone in need, anyday!! We LOVE LA PETITE!!!

This is a horrible daycare facility for African American children. As a customer for 4 years, my contract was terminated due to abuse from 2 separate situations and never received incident reports. This place is not equipped to handle communication among adults as i have asked several times to have a meeting to come to some sort of arrangement that will guarantee safety for my children, instead i was told that my children were lying, black people were too aggressive and that the contract will be terminated and my children things were set outside as if we were some sort of criminals or animals. I also used there chain of command to have the situation handled properly and to my surprise.. they were no help at all!!! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone of color... They will give you a hassle, write your children up for anything, refuse top feed me and treat them as if they dont exist.. to the point your children HATE IT! The new staff is horrible, lazy and racist ... they should have a sign that says #WhitesOnly

Its a really expensive place, (238$ a week for 1 child) it is clean, they have a cool app, for the most part its good. There are alot of annoying things about this place though. For example they seem to call alot to come pick up your child. THEY dont clean your childs face, I have not once picked up my child from there without some kind of krusty stuff caked all over his face in the 5 or 6 months hes been there. 1 time my child had just woke up soon as he arrived and they made me take him home before I even left his room saying he has pink eye and had goopy eyes (which idk if they know the word goopy comes from goo and idk how a dried up eye crusty is goopy) when by the time I got back home (10 blocks away) his eyes where clear as day. YES my child is difficult hes 2 I think it was more on the lines that they didnt want him there. I will be taking my son out of there soon as another spot opens elsewhere.

Love La Petite! Im so surprised by any bad rating. I interviewed more than several daycare/preschools after moving to the area and La Petite was the best one. Yes, its a little pricey-er than others, but can you really put a price on your childs care and your piece of mind? My daughter was 2 1/2 when we moved here and attended La Petite until she started elementary school. My son is currently in the early preschool program and has been there since he was 6 wks old. The teachers are kind and patient, the director is fantastic-always willing to talk/answer questions. My son is pretty rough and tumble and I get accident reports often, but everyone there has been great about helping me with the "issues", they have never ignored me or the problem.

horrible. i had to pay 300 in registration fees in 5 months, they terminated my child because supposable he punched a teacher so hard she cried yet i never recieved an incident report. HES 3 no way he could do that sorry, and to not recieve an incident report even worse. to top it off they released my financial information to my kids step grandmom when she picked them up & also didnt call me to report they were terminating my child, i had to ask! poor academic levels, and they are not willing to help with a child that clearly has ADD or ADHD, just LAZY!

La Petites newest leadership has been the best thing that has happened to the daycare. They bend over backwards to make sure that the children are receiving a great education and part of a safe environment. My children are African American and they are treated equally by the other children, teachers and staff. Not only that, but the staff and teachers treat my children as their own and are actively concerned about their well-being.

I would recommend this daycare to anyone. My daughter and 2 grandsons go there and we love it. The teachers are awesome. They are always doing activites and learning new things. I love the updates through out the day on the app they have.
