Our problem was a shorted out breaker caused by one wire in a light switch. I can not say enough good things about CES! I was more than impressed with the way we were treated!! It started with the way I was treated by Kim Palmer, she could not have been nicer. I had called another electrician and he put me off for two days and then the day he was supposed to be here called and said he couldnt make it. None of our light switches or outlets were working in our family room and I was concerned with a fire considering the breaker had a short in it. Kim was able to set up an appointment for me that same day. Not only did John come, but he called and asked if it would be alright if they were early. He was so very professional, he walked me through the cost every step of the way from his iPad. He didnt want there to be any surprises. He not only did a wonderful job finding the short, but he also cleaned up any mess he had made. By the time John was finished I had felt I had not only found a great electrician but also a new friend, that is how personable he was. I would highly recommend Custom Electrical Services to anyone.

I have had Custom Electrical Services out to our house four times now, and four times, I have been so incredibly pleased with the services. From having our recessed lighting put in (for so much less than competitors) to electrical service calls. Custom Electric delivers every time. Just recently, we had Technician John out to our house for what turned out was a very simple problem. What I like most about Custom Electrical Services is that they keep me involved in the process. Like most homeowners, I want to be kept up to speed as to what is going on, but dont want to interfere or seem too intrusive...John balanced that perfectly. He kept me abreast of what he was doing, the options possible, and then went about his work. Whenever any electrical issue needs to be resolved, I dont even hesitate, I call Custom Electrical Services.

Not a good experience. Met with Mike to get a quote for a house we are remodeling. Did not hear back for 2 weeks so I called to see if they had any numbers worked up for me. Person who answered the phone said they would see what was going on, and would have Mike give me a call back. That was 2 weeks ago, and I still have not heard from them. I also tried emailing them, and I have not heard anything. It has been almost 4 weeks since I met with Mike. Still waiting. I have dealt with Ron in the past and had a great experience, but when I cant even get a courtesy call back saying that the quote is taking a little longer than expected, I will have to go somewhere else. I can not wait any longer, I need to get this done. I guess they have more work then what they need.

I was not very satisfied with the bill. I had a breaker go bad in a 3 year old home. I was okay with the initial charge. Once here, the electrician insisted on checking the wiring for the particular breaker at a charge of over $100, even though the breaker had tripped before and shown signs of failure. Wiring was fine, checked the breaker, it was bad. Instead of replacing it, he asked me if i wanted it replaced. I, of course, said yes. Breaker replaced. $500 total for the visit. A few weeks later I had the same issue on another breaker. Googled it, bought the part for $40, replaced it myself in 5 minutes. I am okay with paying for the service and part, and the service was good, but for a relatively obvious problem $500 was excessive.

We had a breaker that continued to snap at random times. We called Custom Electrical to get a appointment time and the service call was performed in a very timely manner. Mike was our technician, he fixed the breaker quickly however, prior to leaving our home he asked to see the port where the wiring came into our house. He thought we might have a water penetration issue on the side of our home. After an inspection he determined more work was needed to resolve further issues down the road. He returned later with the proper material and fixed our water issue. Its refreshing to find a company and employees that still care enough to do job right the first time! We will always call Custom Electrical for all our electrical needs.

John was so very easy to work with. He respected our ideas, made professional suggestions, and completed the updates on our electrics with great efficiency and professionalism. John is passionate about his work. His suggestions improved our ideas and the look of the lighting in our home. We are so thankful! Mike and Ryan were very good to have work in our home as well. Each day when they were finished, John had us inspect the days accomplishments, he made sure we were satisfied with the clean up, and he answered all our questions. John was positive and enthusiastic. We were happy when our project was completed, but sorry to say goodbye. We would not hesitate to recommend John and Custom Electrical Services.

Our experience with Custom Electrical Services was a good one! We had a breaker for our master bathroom that was tripping a few times per week. John diagnosed the issue, identified the problem areas, and went right to work addressing them. He was also able to spot some other potential problem areas and fix them as well. John was knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. He went above and beyond his duties (including helping me move a faulty stove). We will use Custom Electrical Services again for any electrical repairs or projects and would recommend them to anyone.

I called these guys to troubleshoot a problem that turned out to be incredibly simple; simple to the point that I was embarrassed I hadnt figured it out. Its cool though, because they charged me accordingly. (Next to nothing) If nothing else, they are HONEST, and isnt that the scariest thing about mechanics, plumbers, electricians, etc? He easily couldve spouted off a bunch of technobabble about flux capacitors and inverse krunk converters, charged me half a months pay, and Id have been none the wiser. Easy problem, easy fix, tiny bill. Ill call again in the future.

I was purchasing a new Tesla S and called Custom Electrical because they are certified by Tesla. John Sick was very knowledgeable and was very methodical in determining the electrical capacity of my house. His reccommedations though more expensive than I would have liked, made sense. I agreed, and their resulting services were well done. If your looking for an inexpensive electrician dont call this company. But if you want quality service knowing the work will come with a warranty, at a fair price, then Custom Electrical is the company to call.

From the first phone to Kimberly thru the final walk thru with John, everything about this team was exceptional. Dave and John worked so hard to make our wishes a reality. Even though we asked for some rather difficult things, they figured it out and made it happen. And the house was always cleaned up at the end of the day. We highly recommend Custom Electrical!!!! And, by the way, were having them back in the Spring for our kitchen remodeling and outdoor landscape lighting. Thanks for all your hard work and professionalism.
