Ive been extremely happy with my Sport Clips in MN for the past 3 years, so I thought when I moved here I would be able to get a similar experience. Big mistake. This is the type of place that gives people anxiety about getting their hair cut. I know what I like and was very specific about what I wanted. Several times actually, because she kept forgetting. And still the only thing she actually got right was rounding the corners of my neckline. How can a hairstylist at a "salon" catered towards men not know how to properly taper a mans hair?! Practically every man needs this done anytime his hair is cut. I could have done it better myself, and actually, I did, because when I got home I had to fix that and several other things. I would have asked her to fix it while I was still there, but she was very unpleasant, rushed, and seemed like she didnt care in the slightest and I just wanted to leave and end this terrible experience. Granted the place was pretty busy, which baffles me because there is no way in hell I would ever go back. I wish I could give zero stars, but maybe they deserve one because they have ESPN.

If you want a butchered hair cut, then Sports Clips is where you want to go. My boyfriend went in with his hair at his shoulders, and asked for 1.5-2 inches off the front and back. Just an upkeep cut. By the end of it, after reminding Courtney several times of the length he wanted off, and her confirming with him, he was left with about 1.5 inches of hair overall. Easily the worst haircut Ive ever seen and my poor boyfriend immediately went searching for his hat once we got into the car. If you want a precise haircut of your choosing, then I DO NOT recommend Sports Clips.

Ive become a regular to the Coralville Sport Clips. Ive enjoyed getting to know the staff while watching sporting events. Such a kind staff - I even left my coat there and they called to let me know they had it. The scalp massage, tea tree shampoo, and warm towel are unbeatable. To avoid a wait I drop in to check in, run some errands at the mall, and return to a short wait. Would recommend again and again.

I have had good haircuts and this location about 75% of the time. The scalp massage & hot towel with the MVP can be quite nice. However the other 25% of the time I get an OK to poor hair cut and scalp massage & hot towel only kind of make up for it. Once I thought the stylist was trying to lodge the clippers into the back of my head she was pushing so hard. I guess it is very stylist dependent.

Im a very busy business person so i called to make an appointment. when i got there at the time i made the appointment i was told it would be about a 15 minute wait. i didnt have time to wait 15 minutes, which is why i made the appointment. Aside from this incident the haircuts they give are mediocre at best and over-priced. i wouldnt recommend them to anyone. avoid this place at all costs

I travel for work and have had my hair cut at roughly thirty different Sports Clips across the U.S. Tonight Priscilla took care of me at the Coralville, IA store. She was the best stylist Ive had at any of the locations Ive been to. Im also an owner of a childrens salon in Illinois and I can say she had perhaps the best product knowledge I have seen yet. Great work!

the worst haircut i got today. Those barbers didnt even know hair should look balanced. And I told the barber I want my hair thinner. She asked twice, what do u mean thinner? Dude. Anyhow, I dont know how to express my anger. I have to find another barber to fix my hair tomorrow. They are the worst.

My last experience at Sports Clips included my ear getting cut while the gal cutting my ear was talking about her family. There was no apology. Also, the hair cut looked ridiculous, but that is probably because she was rushing the job before I felt the blood trickling down my face.

Did not wash the boys hair, gave awful haircuts (uneven and way to short) not to mention no rinse after. I could have done that at home! $35 no less. The most terrible experience I have EVER had.

Ive been here multiple times usually a great cut. However, I just got a cut from adriana? She broke the skin with the clippers. Now my neck is raw. 1 bad experience out of 10 visits.

Unpleasant customer service and possibly the worst haircut Ive ever had. I was relieved not to get any skin cut at least. Very surprising to come from an assistant manager.
