Iowa Moving is easy to work with. If you are moving or need to have your belongings loaded onto a truck, Iowa Moving is who you want to work with. I was moving from Iowa to Minnesota and Iowa Moving came and loaded my Ryder truck and I drove it to Minnesota. The men they sent were wonderful. They were very friendly, came on time, they were careful with my belonging and were done in about 2.5 hours. I was stressed out because I waited to the last minute to secure a mover and was nervous I would not find anyone to load up the truck. Initially, I was told they probably couldnt but the owner was able to juggle a few things around and fit me in first thing in the morning. Anyway, when I found out they could load my truck, I was so excited and thankful and moreso at the caliber of individuals who came and overall, I was happy with the end result. Again, YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG HIRING Iowa Moving!!! Hire them now!

These guys are great and very professional. Ill start by saying I have moved several times because I am a military veteran, so I have experience with moving household goods. Three guys showed up, on time, to move goods from a third story 3-bedroom fully-loaded apartment (with no elevator) and storage to a house. These guys had excellent attitudes- nice, respectful, etc. They had my apartment unloaded in less than two hours. Not a single item was broken or missing...which is something you cant take for granted if youve moved enough. Also, the movers were good sized and could actually lift furniture- also something Ive learned not to take for granted. And they showed up with the right tools for the job...such as dollys, padding, etc...again, something not all movers do. Overall, I would recommend this company over any in the central Iowa area.

Iowa Moving 1 has helped me move twice in the last 4 years. I will go back to them time and time again. The process is simple to get everything scheduled. Eric is very helpful and is an obvious expert in the field. Since this company provides moving labor only, you have to provide the truck and driver. It definitely cuts down on costs. They bring moving blankets, dollies, whatever you need for the move. For one of my moves, they were running late, but Eric called me multiple times, so that I was left waiting for their arrival and even offered to send extra help, so the move would go faster. I didnt choose to get extra help, because theyre always SO fast! The movers themselves are hard workers and know what theyre doing. In both my moves nothing was ever been broken or damaged. I would highly recommend Iowa Moving 1 for any moves you have in the future!

Fabulous company. Very professional and organized. Setting up the movers was easy and they called the day before to confirm. Moving day, the guys showed up on time. We had them for a 2 hour block of time. Up front with their start time and had a sheet we signed with the start time. They were polite and treated our items with respect. I didnt worry about items being broken. They packed our rented Uhaul very well! We got everything in one trip. I would recommend this company to anyone needing extra hands. These guys never took a break and they didnt smell like smoke. Extremely impressed and would use them again in a heartbeat.

*I dont know why my Quality rating says 3, because I keep clicking on EXCELLENT* Ive used Iowa Moving 1 two times now for "in-house" moves. Once they moved my piano and a couple other items to my basement, and the second time moved a VERY heavy curio cabinet and one other piece for me. The guys are very professional, clean cut and pleasant to work with......and quite strong! They were on time, even a little early one time, and were very careful with both the furniture and care to not damage any other part of the house while doing the moves. Im impressed and will most certainly use them in the future if the need arises!

They were prompt in arriving on time and very helpful throughout my move! Excellent movers! They arent college kids trying to make a buck, this is their living and theyve been doing this for a long time. They took great care in my personal belongings and were very self directed in moving items to rooms that I wanted them to be moved into (end tables set up near beds that matched where they were in previous place, mattress set up on stand). They said that they wanted me ready to live in the new place by getting the bedrooms set up prior to leaving. Very kind movers and worth every penny!

Excellent company!! We used Iowa Moving 1 when we moved to the Des Moines area in July 2010. We found the company online, and because their prices were so much cheaper than everyone else, booked them. We couldnt have been happier! Eric called us once to set up our moving time, and then again a few days prior to our move to ensure everything was in place. Moving day went so much quicker having Iowa Moving 1 along to help! They did a great, great job - quick, but extremely careful with our belongings. We continue to recommend them to anyone we know that is moving within the area!

We used Iowa Moving 1 to move a sofa, chair, and large tv console from our basement to the garage. We were very satisfied with the work that was done. The tv console was awkward for them to get out because of the tight stairway, but they did a great job not doing any damage to the walls. The movers were very polite and professional. The pricing was straightforward and reasonable. The final cost was the same as what I had been quoted when I emailed to set up the move. They were able to get the move scheduled quickly. We would definitely recommend and use this company again.

We have used other moving companies in the past and Iowa Moving one is by far the best there is. Im in the military and could not be there to help. So my wife and son had to do it all with the help of some amazing men. They played with are son and had been extremely nice to him, even though Im sure he was kind in the way. They made my wife feel like we had known them for years and with having strangers move your personal things this is very important. My advice is to use this mover and you wont be disappointed...Worth every penny and then some.

I was extremely pleased with Iowa Moving. They were prompt, polite, clean and very hard working. They were quick and never complained about the heavy stuff or the stairs. The workers were willing to go the extra mile when working with new carpet in our new home. The two men that helped us were so efficient with packing the U-haul. The whole process was easy from beginning to end. They return your calls and emails quickly and are straight forward about your move. I would absolutely use them again and would highly recommend them to everyone.
