Do not use these guys ever! My wife called and set up the move with this company. She spoke to a lady on the phone initially who told her that 2 guys for 4-6 hours would be optimal for us. Later on Ron called my wife to confirm that order. She explained how the apartment was set up (elevator to third floor) and he told her that they had just moved somebody from our apartment 2 weeks earlier and that it was fine. On the moving day the two guys showed up. One had been around awhile and he had a brand new person with him. The kid was about 130 lbs. soaking wet and had no clue what was going on. He started taking boxes one at a time to the truck. I couldnt handle watching how slow they were and started to move boxes myself. Having moved 7 times in 10 years I have a good understanding what pace it takes to move these items and how to pack them. After they had moved around 17 boxes in 2 1/2 hours Ron shows up with a third person. He lectures the experienced guy about how he should have called earlier to get a third guy. He then turns to me and says Im giving you a third guy to speed this up. I said good because I was tired of loading the truck myself. I walk outside to see the rookie dumping my furniture off the back of the truck. Long story short it took about 4 1/2 hours to do 2 1/2 hours work thanks to me helping for free. When they got to our house to unload they had just finished lunch and the rookie seemed to not realize that his lunch time was over as he continued to eat beside the truck as the other 2 started to work. When it was all said and done it took them 7 hours (again thanks to my help and having them leave half the stuff in the garage). Thank goodness the third guy they brought (Salvadore) could actually lift and move. When the bill was presented to me it said that I was charged for the third person "given to me". My bill had gone from the estimated $500 to nearly $1200. When my wife (7 months pregnant) called Ron to discuss the discrepancy he began to belittle her. By the time I got on the phone he was cussing and telling me that "he wasnt there to vent at". When I asked him why he didnt tell me that he was gonna charge me for a third person he first lied and said that he did and then retracted that and said I must have been stupid to think he was free". Ron and his company are crooks and the guys working for them know they work for one. You could see the looks on their faces as it all went down before they took off before resolution. This company leaves you feeling belittled, robbed and down trodden. I can only hope that Kharma turns around on Ron and nobody uses this company again and they go out of business! DO NOT SIGN THE BILL BEFORE THEY MOVE YOU. IT WILL LEAD TO ROBBERY! Wish Ron was man enough to attempt to belittle my wife to my face and not over a phone. You hear me Ron?

Our biggest mistake! This company was a total let down. I hire 2 movers to help me. They send one guy with some experience and a brand new trainee. And the trainee was about 5 ft tall, 110 pounds. The trainee watched his trainer most of the time and when it came to lifting he couldnt lift the heavier items. So I had to step in while he watched. After 4 hours they had less than 1/3rd of the truck filled. I told them to stop and called the boss. He told me I was unreasonable for thinking they could pack the truck in 4 hours. Since this was my 5th professional move I disagreed because other companys have packed the whole truck it in 3.5 hours without a scratch on our possessions. These guys had boxes falling over each other and huge spaces between items in the truck. My wife, 5 months pregnant, was so frustrated she started repacking what they had done. In the meantime, the mover and trainee were loading up my garage with our pre-packed boxes instead of moving them to the truck. The boss was insulting and attempted to bully me. While I was on the phone with him he put me on hold and I heard him yelling at another customer of his. He didnt realize I could here him...so Im not the only one. And damage, oh yes...when I unloaded our truck several days later I found lots of scratches and dents from the carelessness of the movers. So after 4 hours I told the guys to stop and I called the boss/Ron, they walked out, got in the truck and left before I could get things resolved. Now the boss calls his guys and responds that Im unreasonable because they shouldnt pack a whole truck in 4 hours. And he says that all our possessions wont fit in the 26 foot Uhaul. Well, once they left, I packed the truck with my brother and we had several feet to spare at the end of the truck. It was the 5th time Ive moved our things in a 26 ft Uhaul. So this place was a rip off. One IMPORTANT note...they show up and demand I sign the bill to charge my credit card before work begins, or they say they will leave. What was I to do...it was our moving day, I thought I hired a professional company that would do the job they promised. As a result, I got stuck with a $500 bill and less than 1/3 of the truck filled. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!!! Regardless how they respond to my review or others dont be fooled. 1st choice movers complaintI will never work with this company again! After going to thumbtack to ask for help they contacted within hours which is the only good thing they did. I called the number and told the manager I would need someone around 2 in the afternoon because I had recently moved to another state and only have my truck and trailer renter for a short time. He said that shouldnt be a problem, he couldnt give me an exact time but, it should be within 30 minutes. He wanted me to call to check in mid morning. After driving for 5 hours I called and his attitude had completely changed. He told me the afternoon is never set in stone they try to get as much as possible done in the morning and he knew they were still several hours out. He said he would call the movers and call back within the hour. 2 hours later I call back talk to someone else explain I was supposed to get a call an hour ago and she told me the same thing as he did! She did say she will call back to let me know soon. She calls back 15 minutes later and says again they are several hours out cant give me a time frame. We get to the trailer and given the fact they were several hours out we started to do it our self. I have bronchitis, my wife has a knee injury, and we are with my 65 year old father in-law. We get most of it done by the time the movers called and again they said they were 45 minutes out. Being sick and injured we slow down and decide to wait. When they got there it was almost 5pm! I asked why so late they said the boss kept calling them with other work. I told them we got most of it done I dont mind paying for gas and what they help us finish but they said they needed 2 hours up front in cash plus gas. It would only take us an hour to finish. They called their boss and handed me the phone. I told him my situation and he could have cared less. He talked down to me, he said they have done nothing wrong and refused to work with me. At the end of the conversation he said I was lucky they even came. I hung up the phone paid the workers FULL PRICE and walked away. Immediately after paying them their boss called back and told them to leave if I didnt pay every penny. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.
