Had went to this establishment since it is basically the only one that is in LV without having to be a member of a country club. Had for a quick tour and the manager was pretty cool bud but some of the girls up front do not know how to treat customers. I had showed a girl my 10 day pass a couple days after I received it and she said I needed to talk to the manager Phil, so she went back and "talked to him." And the funny thing was he was literally sitting at a table out of her sight talking to a customer. I told her that he was sitting right there and she was shocked: and was obviously embarrassed and made me pretty mad knowing she just lied to me and then denied lying to me by saying he will talk with me in a little bit even though I talked with him for 45 minutes the other day to receive my guest pass! I was with my friend and we had to wait about 10 minutes before we decided to just leave. Would not recommend because of the unprofessional treatment and attitude and would not even consider buying a membership anymore. Phil is good, but not other members on their staff. Facility is nice for isolation workouts, but defiantly not Olympics lifts because of the lack of space and gets very hot in the workout, area very fast.

The new policy that doesnt allow clients to use their Genesis Points to help buy supplements is very disappointing. It jeopardizes Genesis Health Clubs customer service excellence. I liked buying my supplements at the gym, not only it was convinient, but also using my points was very motivating. I also recently faced a racist comment from a trainer. It was a reason good enough to leave the club. However, I decided to stay because the manager solved the situation professionally and the trainer apologized. The equipment at the health club is good and clean. I hope you reconsider your policies for the benefit of both clients and club.

12/26/2014: CO-ED WOMENS BATHROOM. Witnessed a male, I believe to be a staff trainer, send a boy of about 10 years old into the womens locker room. The staff treat womens locker room as Co-Ed. DO NOT RECOMMEND DUE TO SAFETY ISSUES. 12/15/2014 entry edited on 12/17/2014: After a personal encounter of a male in the Womens showers, the front desks reply was "there is no rule against it." The front desk is not at all helpful or caring of basic modesty/safety issues. I am concerned a real issue would be met with same inaction and severe injury could result. Women have no allowance for modesty or safety.

Had to show up to the gym to cancel membership in person. They still charged my account several weeks later. Really not happy! Im waiting to cool off before I call & ask for a refund & to tell them again to stop taking from my account. Ill never go back & Ill tell everyone to stay away from Genesis. Over a month later & they are still charging my account. My membership expired about four months ago & as instructed I showed up at the Leavenworth location canceled my membership. They are still charging my account. Time to see a layer.

Gave the club 45 days notice before cancelling membership in anticipation of maybe a couple of weeks more of membership but when I submitted the paperwork they claimed I had to wait an additional 60 days beyond that. Ive always been told that they would squeeze a couple of extra months out of you when you cancel so just expect it but I naively thought I could avoid it if gave them a heads up. The gym is not bad and I would have gone back but the screwing on the way out the door will keep me from ever doing that.

Lv. Genesis is literally my home away from home, use their equipment every day. the staff their are basically all my homies, and all are willing and able for a great spot if your ever in the need, just dont be afraid to ask. everyone understands when people just want to lift, and when a brotha need a hand. The girls at the front desk put a smile on my face every time I come and go, this place treats you right. (thumbs up)

I have two small issues (not complaints); one the showers and the family swim time. I like a good shower post workout, but the water pressure is pretty weak. A more flexible schedule for family swim would be good too. Aside from those two items my family loves the gym. The daycare staff is excellent!

I paid in full up front, after being told I would be given a prorated refund should I get deployed or PCS. Cody & Laura lied to me on that front, and just referred me to the corporate office. No response from the corporate office after dozens of phone calls, now I have to get JAG involved.

I couldnt finish my personal training sessions because I kept on getting injured. This was due to my trainer not listening to me as far as doctor recommended limitations. So they basically ripped me off a lot of money. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. now living in Texas and go to

I really enjoy the atmosphere here! The gym is always clean and the equipment is organized! The employees are really nice! My son went to the daycare there and he loved it! The only thing I wish this gym had to offer is tanning and a daycare package. Overall a great gym.

Genesis has been a great place for me to exercise and participate in fitness classes. My favorite is Zumba, but there are many other classes to choose from. The instructors are very professional and I have benefited so much from participating in all that Genesis offers!

Great amenities and knowledgeable trainers! Plenty of equipment no waiting on anything. Locker rooms are nice well stocked and steam sauna. Daycare for ppl with children. I love coming here, I dont feel body slammed there are people of all fitness levels and ages.

I will say that this gym just not work out for me. They did stick to there word and refund me my membership. Make sure to read the contract. I just tried to soon to go back to gym. My baby is not fully vac. so it was a poor choice on my acct.

Wouldnt recommend it. Money hungry and most of the trainers arent very helpful. Also, couldnt spell my name right in the system so they can never find me. Told me they had corrected it to find out that they couldnt find it in the system yet again.

Pretty good gym, facilities are clean, trainers are good. Its a lil pricey, but if you dont want to go on base this is definitely the place to be. I wish there were more varieties in supplement and a massage place would be awesome!! hint hint

Best Gym in Leavenworth, I love the hot tub, I spent a lot of time in there. The steam room is really nice too. The workout area is very nice. Everything is clean. The staff is nice. I love the smoothie bar. I love this place.

The staff is awesome and friendly. The personal trainers are very professional and know their stuff. They also help my business out by referring people to me who need relief from sore muscles. Austin and Shane are top notch!
