I waited for months to book an appointment here. I wanted to wait because I heard it was pricey and had other things going on. I was so excited for my apointment. I had Todd doing my hair. I have dark hair that has been colored before. I wanted some blonde added. I have done this before without issue at other places. The pictures I showed him he could not do because my hair is too dark. Ok. He said he would lighten it up though and he would do this and that. Ok. Well. He didnt tell me that I would have an orange stripe down the middle of my head. The color was very blotchy. It looked like a 16 year old did the color. There were other really blotchy patches of orange. His next appointment showed up before he even started putting color on my hair. I feel like he was just trying to rush through. He had his assistant finish my hair and rinse it etc. I told her that I was unhappy with the color and that it was orange. Everyone came over with a different excuse and oh it looks fine. Todd came over and bitched me out in front of a lot of people because I was dissatisfied with my orange hair. Basically telling me it was my fault and this and that. I paid and couldnt get out of there soon enough. They called me back and said Todd would do another color weave for free. Then I realize that one piece of my hair is like an inch longer than the rest of my hair. I call for my appointment to get it fixed for free. He has someone else doing my hair (and shes really nice so Im thankful for hat actually) he comes over and is really rude yet again. Wont look at the pictures I am trying to show him of what I dont like about my hair and tells me again how it is my fault etc etc. then tells he girl you have her sign a release blah blah blah. Ok he wouldnt even let me finish a sentence with him and storms off. While this gal doing my hair seems really nice and I am hopeful that she will make my hair better I do not know that I can return here after such a bad experience.

Went there yesterday to have my hair done my appointment time was at 3:30 I went early cause Im new to Kansas and dont know my way around Kansas just yet so I left my house early just in case I got lost I would have enough time to get there on time. Well I found my way arrived there at 2:15 checked in told the lady in the front I was early so I sat and waited for my time 3:30 came and I still wasnt called so I went up and asked how long more will it be the lady in the front had an attitude she said Ill go check came back and said itll be 10-20 mins more I said well Im leaving. Remind you Ive been waiting there from 2:15 bad customer service Ive never waited this long to do my hair no matter where I went to top it off other people was coming in after me and was getting called back in no time was it because of my skin color cause I wasnt fair skin makes me wonder. I will never ever return to this salon and wont recommend anyone there either.

Planet Hair might be the best place I have ever been to get my hair done. First, the environment is like no other. Modern And Lux. Bright and colorful and fun with great, energetic music. The girls at the front were very nice and helpful. They got me water, coffee, and really anything I needed to feel at home. When my stylist greeted me, he was very nice and seemed excited to get started. His name was Tod. He gave me the best color and haircut I have ever had, not to mention an amazing style to transform my look. I am so exited to have found a forever home for my hair. I cant wait to go back and be pampered like a queen. I also hear they do manicures and pedicures so I will definitely be trying that out next time! Its a one stop shop for all your luxury needs.

After a very bad experience with another salon last month, i decided to research more deeply and ultimately decided on planet hair. Not only are they very easy and accomodating getting you in for an appointment, but they are also very warm and welcoming when you arrive. I came in for blonde color, my hair had been wrecked by another stylist. Maria didnt keep me waiting long. We assessed the damage and maria helped me decide on how we would proceed, im going from fairly dark hair to light blondes. Maria and I had some great conversation, and she made me feel comfortable always letting me know the next step in the process. Needless to say, my hair looks fantastic. Maria is very skilled and i cant wait to see her again!

I cant say my experience was good or bad. The customer service is awesome and theyre very timely and efficient but the stylist I had unfortunately was not used to ethnic hair and I was so disappointed with the way my hair looked and I was disappointed because thats time I cant get back LOL. But Emma didnt make me pay for my services because I was upset and she could and she also offered me free services with a different stylist for next time so I wont bash the salon but it just didnt work for me and the fact that I asked did the stylist know how to do black hair and I got a lie was horrible but Ill go back one day soon and try theyre other stylist.

This place is horrible! I will not ever go back to this salon and will not ever recommend it to anyone. The stylist (Megan R) completely butchered my hair, did not communicate to me what she was doing, and could not even cut straight. She widened my hair line and shaved into my temples without asking?!? She completely ruined my hair! The prices are too expensive for the quality of the "service" provided. I requested that the owner/manager contact me to discuss my horrible experience, and no one ever followed up with me. Completely unacceptable/unprofessional. Stay away from this place!

Bad experience, will never go back! I scheduled a 12.45 appointment with Maria, they were helpful enough to allow a same day appointment, but first off after arriving a few mins late, I was told because of that i had to wait an additional 20min. Secondly after waiting 20min i was told that i had too much hair for her to style before the next appointment and that I should know this because I have too much hair. Are you kidding me? Why did you pick a career in hair styling if you dont like to work on people with a lot of hair. Thanks for the demeaning comments geez....

The first time I had my hair colored (from brunette to blonde), my stylist did a great job coloring ALL of my hair, and everyone loved it. However, on subsequent visits, the same stylist only highlighted my hair (on top) instead of coloring my whole head. The hair underneath was half brown and half blonde, and it looked terrible. This service cost the same amount as the first job! I have not been back since receiving poor service. Their prices are extremely high for this kind of service. Go elsewhere!
