Will never go back! I came in from out of town and wanted to have some quality time with my mom. We made an appt for pedis on a Sunday afternoon. We walk in and NOT ONE CUSTOMER was in the store. All the employees were standing around the desk talking. One person greeted us while the others refused to make eye contact. We stated we had an appt and every one walked away. We just stood there like dummies until some guy "said let me see where they want you". He didnt introduce himself and he never uncrossed his arms appearing to be bored and bothered. Since my mom had a pedicure here before she showed me where to go. Everything was off as if they had no clue we were coming. Nothing was ready. My mom specifically told them we were getting shellac pedicures. They acted like they had no clue. I live in a big city and get shellac all the time at different places and no on seems like its a foreign concept. Some girl walked in again, didnt introduce herself, acted like we woke her up from a nap and started having a bad attitude about me getting shellac. She never even attempted to set up she just started saying "its going to be $10 extra for this, $5 extra for that, another $10, blah blah blah. So itll be $77." Again, I get these all the time and the most Ive paid is $60 (without tip). She obviously didnt want to do it so we said fine well just go somewhere else. They all said, "Okay!" with excitement and walked back to their holes. We were also looking for some beauty supplies so my mom took me to Sephora which was packed. This type of poor customer service, attitude and ineptitude is why Sephora was busy and we were the only idiots naive enough to go to Beauty Brands. My mom lives in Waco and said she will never go back. I definitely will not be coming back either.

I booked my wife an appointment yesterday for Christmas and had her tell them exactly what she wanted. We are from out of town. They asked what her hair color was, what she was going for, etc. We arrive early and Anna already has an attitude, passively asking what she wants like we were inconveniencing her. My wife tells her she likes her hair color and would like something like hers. Anna laughed at her and stated "Um this took like 3 sessions". They talked her out of what she wanted because it was easier to do what they wanted. Then after leaving us sitting there for a few minutes, she came back and told her she didnt have time for this today and asked her to come back some other time. AFTER WE HAD ALREADY SCHEDULED. She told us the people up front that scheduled her know nothing about hair. We then stated that we were from out of town and couldnt come back because of our work schedules, she kept coming up with excuses until finally telling us she just didnt want to do it. Everyone there treated us like we were such a burden on them. Whats funny is my wife has always used this salon and this same woman took 2 hours on a trim, sounds like theyve been slipping for a while, this is the final straw. Terrible, terrible business. We will NOT be returning and will not recommend this place to anyone.

I had an awful experience in the salon at this location. I went in for an eyebrow and lip wax and left very disappointed. The woman who did it for me hardly talked to me at all, not even asking my preference in terms of brow shape etc. She was so rough and careless with my skin that I was very red and splotchy. Once she was done, she inspected her work and told me that my eyebrows were likely to scab up. (which has NEVER happened to me in my years of getting waxed). She asked me over and over if I was on any type of medication that would cause this. I told her no several times, but she was adamant that this was the cause for my skin to react this way. I received no apology for this happening or advice on how to heal it. The skin around my eyebrows is now SORE. This is completely unacceptable for a salon. I will not be returning for waxing services and highly recommend that you do not either.

My review is specifically about Monica at beauty brands as I cannot speak to anyone else there. Monica was AMAZING! My hair was perfect and exactly what I wanted! I showed her two pictures and she got it spot on. I have long hair and dont normally like to cut off more than 5 inches at a time. Monica actually listened and said she would be able to get all the ends off with only taking 3.5 to 4. She also believed me when I said my hair looks very choppy when my layers arent long. I am new to the area and was nervous about finding a new hairstylist. She was friendly, on time, and honest about my hair. I will definitely be going back!

Mediocre hair cut at best. My stylist was Taylor--she pulled my hair while using the texturizing scissors and it hurt. It was done carelessly. She tried to put some layers in my hair and it came out looking super sloppy. I called and spoke with the manager who was very apologetic and invited me back to have my hair fixed. I saw Marsha on my next visit who was very sweet and did a good job fixing the original haircut. However, I ended up with hair much shorter than I intended because she had to cut off more inches to correct the botched haircut.

Went in looking to start fresh with upgraded makeup and didnt know where to start. Naomi walked up and greeted me and offered to be my guide. Well she was wonderful. She gave me options to see what I liked and what I thought looked good along with her own reccomendations. She wasnt judgemental and was patient with me. I felt at ease and it was the first time in a long time I felt comfy at a makeup department store. I am glad I mixed up ulta and beauty brands. I am now a sold customer to beauty brands! Thank you naomi!

My fiancé and I had an awful experience here. We both had our eyebrows waxed by a blonde stylist named Sam and she waxed them so thin that it almost appeared that we didnt have any eyebrows. I wouldnt be so harsh if we had not specifically told her not to wax them too thin. This happened to me not once but twice at beauty brands. Do not pay for beauty services here unless you want a cheap and rushed service.

I had a HORRIBLE experience with another salon on Sunday that was supposed to do my hair and make-up for my maternity pictures & when I showed up crying at Beauty Brands asking if there was anyone that could style my hair, Donna and the staff went above and beyond! They were wonderful!!! I honestly cant thank them enough & I will be back for sure!

Friendly staff, excellent place for full salon services and beauty supplies. Salon services are reasonably priced but some beauty products seem costly. Even so, they have great sales and a good loyalty program that you dont have to keep up with by yourself. See Monica for great hair care.
