Asked in advance for someone with curly hair expertise. When I arrived the technician was overly energetic and asked a thousand small talk questions (maybe she drinks red bull too often). After we discussed my hair type and looked at a photo of a stacked Bob I kindly requested she not use texturizing shears because it causes curly hair to frizz. She acknowledged all my requests and it seemed she was familiar with my hair type (3A on curl charts). Mid-way through the cut she used her scissors to rake down the locks similar to how a barber thins out thick hair - its a barbaric practice that ruins curly hair and now I have very frizzy hair! I looked like a train wreck leaving the salon and was in tears by the time I was home. Ill either be living with 6 months of frizzy mess or will have to cut 4 inches out of my medium length hair. Ill never return.

I recently moved to Cincinnati for a job, as well, I was looking for a new stylist and salon to go to on a regular basis. I am very particular ab my cuts so I was concerned about finding one that would live up to my high standards. I was pleasantly surprised when I found Cloud 9 Salon. I was preparing myself to go through three or four different salons before I found the perfect one, but after my first two visits with Janette, I am happy to say I have found my new stylist!!! She is awesome, listened to what I wanted and gave me professional input on what she thought would look best. The salon is great for a spa day or just a haircut; they offer great services at very reasonable prices. If you are looking for a stylist to really care about you as a client, Cloud 9 is the place to go and Janette is THE girl to ask for!!

Worst hair cut ever!!!! I went in with a picture of what I wanted and wasnt even close. When asked what I thought I told her how unhappy I was. She then told me she couldnt have given me the cut I wanted. I said nows a nice time to tell me that. And it was cut so short there wasnt enough hair left to fix it. I looked like Adolph Hitler. When I went to pay I told them how unhappy I was. I was still charged and was told a manager would contact me to try and make it right. But I never got a call. Nothing was ever done.

Fantastic experience. Highly recommend Danielle. Not a local resident, but I was in Florence for 3 days and needed a haircut. The gal at the hotel recommended this Salon. When I called a friendly gentleman answered the phone. He was helpful in my concerns about trying them out and recommended Danielle. Super glad he did. Wish I could take her back to my city. She did a highlight, cut and style. Super Happy!!!

Just saw Janette for the second time this year with my 6 year old daughter. She is awesome! She sees us both back to back and is very good. She is very attentive and friendly, and very pretty. ..my daughter says she looks like a barbie:) Thanks Janette for doing a wonderful job again, we will be back! I have always been a person who traveled from salon to salon searching for the perfect haircut! I found what I am looking for at Cloud 9 Salon. They are outstanding! I have been going here for well over a year--which is a definite record for me! They are very professional, friendly, and can really make your hair look fantastic!

Always a wonderful job! At cloud 9 Ive never been disappointed! No matter who the stylist is Ive always received a wonderful haircut or pedicure. They dont make you wait long and theyre extremely friendly. Any time I try to go to another hair stylist or pedicure salon I always wind up back here.

Our 2-yr-old daughter got her first haircut here and every cut since. She loves having Kirsten cut her hair, and she always looks fantastic. The cut is attractive and easy to maintain. A little more pricy than one of those assembly line haircut places, but well worth it.

Im personally pretty high maintenance when it comes to getting my hair cut. This salon does wonders and its not too expensive (I spent $20 for my hair cut). The staff is very friendly and courteous! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is picky about their hair!

I took two teenage girls here 13 and 15. I gave three-star cause one daughter loved her stylist. The other one not so much. The stylist didnt speak to my 15 year old. Ask what we were doing and that was it. My daughter was very uncomfortable the whole time.

Bad experience. Overcharged too much. Wont go there again anymore. A level one person (they have level 1-6 people) dyed my hair and charged over $90.
