Star Cleaners came to the rescue when I needed to have my dress dry cleaned in 1 day for my fathers funeral...my friend had shipped it to me from St. Louis and I knew it should be dry cleaned before wearing again so my mom took a chance and called them....the lady was so kind and reviewed how the timing may work out since this was Saturday afternoon and I needed it by Monday afternoon...beyond her offer to drop it by our house in the subdivision behind the shop-to help us with all that we had to do before the funeral, she also did not charge me for the cleaning- a very kind and compassionate gesture. My black dress (clean without the white deodorant marks) was cleaned in time and looked great! To those in other reviews who had an item damaged, deal with it...worse things could happen in life!!! I have dry cleaned most of my clothes, including sweaters, over the last 25 years at probably 5 different cleaners...you know what, one lost my scarf attached to a suit coat (made the suit), buttons tarnished on another suit, and two have used too much heat on a suit right before I had to travel for work or had an important meeting--this I found can be corrected with re-cleaning. You know what, I survived and had no issue going shopping again for new, stylish clothes...sometimes, things happen. :)

There has clearly been a change in cleaning techs or something. This dry cleaner used to provide excellent service! My clothes were always expertly cleaned. When I recently picked up my clothes the majority of the garments were still dirty, just pressed. I requested a "re-do" for the pieces I didnt need immediately. After picking up the "re-do" batch I discovered a hot pink perfectly formed circle of ink, stamped on my white shorts! I have left them a voicemail and I will post another review after we resolve this. As promised, here is my update. Today I received a call from the manager, Debbie! She expressed genuine concern and delivered professional customer service. I understand that things can happen. So honest acknowledgement and reasonable explanations are much appreciated! She even assisted me with the claims form. Kudos to you Debbie and thank you for a job well done

Public Service Announcement: Star Cleansers is hands down the worst cleaners I have ever been to in my entire life! We just moved here form NY, so finding Dry Cleaners, grocery stores and other stuff is ruff sometimes. So, I stopped by Star Cleaners in Union, KY on Thursday to drop off some clothes, (Thinking Convenience ) the "ordeal" can be best described as a rendition of Seinfeld "Soup Nazi" episode experience. Not only that the experience was absolutely horrible! Please think twice before you become an unwilling participant in an episode of Seinfeld....

Crappy cleaners they lost my brand-new 70$ blouse then tell me I have to fill out a long form and wait till they feel like paying for it!!! Never again will I go there. The one time I use them they steel from me!
