I only wish I could give it a negative star! I brought my car in to change a muffler. The mechanic showed me some things that sounded sound, some oil leaks, some pipes that should be changed and I went with it for $930. That should have been it, but when I left my car ran rougher. It started shaking as if a spark plug were misfiring, even though those were just changed. I brought it back, thinking the cap they replaced just wasnt tightened properly. Happens. I leave again and my car shakes harder and starts overheating. I bring it back a second time, and they treat me like Im wrong. The mechanic is especially rude, fast talking to gloss over things. I was in the shopthem looking at my car like a couple of monkeys that dont know what they are looking for. Except that is insulting to the monkeys. Monkeys are smarter. I took my car and left since the mechanic obviously didnt care what happened and the guy behind the counter was useless. As I drove to my usual place to see what damage they did, bonus, the check engine light came on. My car was FINE except for a noisy muffler before they touched it! Its awaiting service tomorrow before I found out what they did. Stay away, and if desperate, only get the muffler. Go to a REAL mechanic for other work. Its a muffler shop only.

My wife took her care there because if power steering problems. they "Checked" the car out and listed 1000$ worth of needed repairs. Wife left and 15 min after leaving the car started to run hot. never had that problem before going there for the "check " Turns out someone punctured the hoses and now the dexcool is leaking out. I went there and the guy said it was the water pump . yeah right. He punctured holes in the lines so my wife could bring the car back and they could make a quick buck. Some Mechanics and some shops have been doing this for along time to unsuspecting customers causing them tons of money. Buyer beware you are in for a head ache. Shop basically said Bennys did it while changing her oil. Midas on college is the definition of plausible deniability. Not the first and not the last time they gonna break or damage something to make a buck off of a unsuspecting customer.

This place is horrible, dont go there! My wife brought her car there because it was having problems starting. The manager ran a $150 diagnositic test and tells her it is the alternator. He then gives an outrageous price to repair the alternator and tells her that if Midas repairs it he will take off the diagnostic charge. I brought it somewhere else and found out that the battery was the problem. I let the manager of Midas know about what happened and asked for a printout of the diagnosis which he refused and was a jerk to me. Do not take your vehicle here, they will scam you!

If youre going for an oil change, please save yourself the drama, and go ANYWHERE in Baton Rouge except Midas. This is, by far, the worst service and most expensive oil change I have ever had. Ive had bad experiences at auto shops in the past, but I have never had an experience so utterly horrendous that I felt the need to write a scathing review online, until I went to Midas. Take your business elsewhere, or allow Midas to take advantage of you.

I have an issue with my steering wheel moving while driving up to 45 mph. When I get up to 60 mph my whole truck shakes. I took my truck in to them and they told me its my lower control alarm and sway bar links. I spent damn near $800 to get that fixed. Turned out thay couldve been a DIY project and it was my tires. They told me they solved my problem, but they never did.

Went in because car was squeaking. I thought I may need a strut or shock. Guy tells me I need to have my rack and pinion replaced. He said I had leaks everywhere. So I get a quote but then went to the Infiniti dealership and have it looked at again and all I needed was my bearings lubed....Ill go to the dealership from now on.

Horrible service and horrible manager. Got my brakes and rotors changed which were supposed to be covered under a lifetime warranty which conveniently disappeared. 2 weeks later my brakes where scrubbing and sliding. Called em about only to receive an attitude and get hung up on. Thanks Midas
