I normally dont do a lot of reviews but I just had to tell the world how great Ms. Rima is here at Mai Mira salon. I came in for the first time ever with a bad hair color I did myself at home, to try and fix some dark roots I had. I was tired of bleaching my hair because it was getting so damaged and just decided to get a box color and toner. ---BIG NO-NO. Ms. Rima informed me of a certain bleach she uses that a lot of stylist dont. Its olaplex and basically gets you the bright color you want without the damage of most bleachs. She made me feel right at home and was so helpful the entire experience. Her haircut she gave me is the best cut Ive ever had in my life. Im so profoundly happy with every service. I was in out in great time. Her prices are fair too especially for the great work she does!!! Im not from the area so Im so excited I found this wonderful woman! Im a customer for life :)Ask for RIMA. I posted some pictures of my botched "at home" before pics and the fabulous after pics.

Rema was very kind and professional at the time of the consultation and at the appointment itself. I showed her a picture of the color I would like and she went over with me how she would go about doing it. In the end she couldnt lift the dark color off my hair enough so my hair was a little more yellow than I wanted it but it still looked good so I tipped her and left. The first time I washed my hair the toner washed completely out. I am left with frazzled, brassy yellow hair with choppy or orangish brown roots only 2 weeks after. I tried to tone it myself with purple shampoos and conditioners but it didnt help. I contacted her letting her know what happened and asking how much it would cost to fix it and she never responded. I had my hair done for a nice change and to get a little boost to feel better about my appearance. Now Im ashamed and wearing a hat everywhere. Very very unhappy with services provided and with lack of interest in customer satisfaction.

Im not sure what Rima puts in her hair color or how she does it. EVERY time I get my hair colored, my hair comes out shiner, softer, and overall more healthy looking & feeling. I have yet to have a bad cut from her. She is very knowledgable & genuine. I always have a great experience when I see Rima. I cant recommend her enough. Side note: Rima also carries this mineral makeup that I tried today. I have pretty substantial scarring from acne. The makeup feels great and looks wonderful. It covered all of my scarring, and the concealer for under my eyes erased my circles. If you need makeup, just go ahead and get some with your haircut. Definitely worth it.

Rima has been cutting my hair for 3 years. I dont ever let anyone else cut my hair. I never have to tell her how I want it to look. She knows what is going to work and what isnt, so I always get the perfect cut. Ive tried her threading service too, loved the way my eyebrows had a clean uniform look that fit my face. She is professional, courteous and always makes you feel at home while you are at Mai Mira Salon.
