I was skeptical after reading the reviews and being from out of town thats all i had to go on. However, my experience was great. I had two people on my head most of the time and I got in and out in just over 5 hrs. That has never happened to me. I was expecting the younger lady to have massive attitude based on other reviews, but it was quite the opposite she was very polite, fast and efficient. Its four stars because of the lack of parking, and the owners sister was suppose slow and her attitude I could have dealt without. If Im ever in Baton Rouge again, this will be my shop.

HORRIBLE!! I came in, showed a picture, and got a quote (maybe $80+). Came back the next week and they quote me a $200 price!! I said thats not what I was told & they asked WHO did I speak to. REALLY??!! I didnt have time to make another apt since it was 5pm in the evening...so I had to leave & go to an ATM and get more cash. That should have been my sign to NOT come back. I let them get started and Im telling her over & over that its too tight. The braider obviously didnt comprehend....NEVER went back!!

Ill give them 4 stars on behalf of their skills. The older ladies in there are pretty ok but there was one particular little girl (17-18yrs old) in there only once of the three times Ive been there that little girl was very disrespectful and knowing my temper i just stepped out to collect myself. Only because my daughter was being serviced i didnt leave, but after all like always i was extremely satisfied with the results.

I would never go back to this place. It was the worst experience. I got into it the lady that did my hair. She was the most unprofessional person I have ever met. Not to mention my braids were not done correctly.

I got my hair braided at Dakar African hair braiding and it was the best decision Ive made. Their braids are very neat and professional. They are very nice. Am glad I got my hair braided here.
