My child went to this preschool from 3.5 months to 5 years. I adore all of the staff. They truly believe in what they are doing-having a happy, loving environment for all of the kids, staff and families! All of the staff, especially the owners, Marguerite and Jennifer, are so much more than what you would find at a typical "daycare" in Baton Rouge. They are involved in all facets of the center and dont just do lip service and tell you what you want to hear. They believe in the idea of a village raising the child and if anyone in that village doesnt truly believe in the philosophy of the school, they arent enrolled or are asked to leave. This creates such a positive, cooperative atmosphere where it is obvious that trust and respect are reciprocated on all levels. The teachers arent personal babysitters, but genuine professional caregivers that love and care for all of the kids. I often tell people that my kid was raised by my family and by the Co-op. If you want a place where your child will have fun and be loved, this is the best place for you.

I have had experience with many other notable daycares in BR, but no others compare to The Co-Op! From a nurturing, fun environment to many great field trips to eco-friendly practices, this place has what every parent wishes for in a daycare. I have several reputable daycares within a couple of miles from my home and office, but I drive much further to bring my children to The Co-Op. Ive had 4 children attend here, and I wouldnt bring them anywhere else!

I could not have found a more wonderful child care center! The staff makes you feel like family, and my daughter actually squeals with happiness when we get to the center in the morning. Not only does the center provide a loving, educational environment, but the owners also strive to keep the center environmentally friendly. There are even plans to start an organic garden for the children, amazing!

In an area where there is an increasing demand for quality childcare, CDC is one of the premier learning centers in the Baton Rouge area. The small class size is remnant of a nurturing home school situation with a whole child approach to learning. We feel the family environment here is a solid start to our son’s educational future.

What an amazing find in the mid-city area! My daughter loves all the staff, she even wants them all to come to her birthday party! Everyone is like family.

A nurturing environment for my grandson, Noah Pritchard. He likes it. My son and daughterinlaw like it. Enough said.
