1st indecent) I called to speak with the Post Master, it took over 20 rings before anyone answered, regarding ours and neighbors mail being delivered to other boxes. This went on for several weeks. Thank goodness we have honest neighbors. But its terrible to have people from all down our road searching each other out to get the mail to the right houses. I was told that the person in charge was at lunch. I left a detailed message. Never to get a return call. Called again with the same kind of delay in answering and the same out come. No return call. 2ND incident) Now we are expecting a package that the tracking is telling us it should have been here this evening, by no later than 5:30 than changed to 8:00. The newest message says it could be another 2 days. We paid extra for second day delivery. Not all packages are trivial items. Some people get medical needs met through the mail. All packages she be delivered in a precise manner. I truly believe the post master and the staff need to be held responsible. It is was past time to remove the union workers that have no ramifications for their lack of professionalism or efficiency. Fire workers that are not willing to do the job and get people in there that are.

I called to ask where a package might be located and some guy answered who obviously didnt care about his job or helping anyone out. I asked him if he could locate a package and he said he would ask his carriers. He told me to call back later and hung up in my face. I eventually called back a few hours later. The same guy answered and told me to hold on. I sat on hold for 30 minutes... I finally hung up the phone and called back only to find out that they had closed already. You have to call 10 times before someone ever answers the phone. Where are the good employees that the other reviews talk about?? Absolutely terrible service. I would avoid this place as much as possible.

So I have been left a parcel key 4 times with no actual key on it, just the plastic key chain. How does that even happen?!Recently I know I have a package in the parcel box but the past two days I havent gotten a key. I called and informed them and they said they would leave one today never happened. Its not that hard to place a key in a box. Cmon. Edit: I have been having trouble with getting packages. Sometimes its them not leaving me a key or the right key. The post master offered to drive to my apartment and show me there were no packages. Someone somehow got them

If you call, dont expect an answer. They just let it ring until they pick up and hang up right away. Ive gone in and asked for a package to me mailed and get somewhere by a specific date. The man helping me said no problem with standard and it did not arrive in time. I wouldnt have minded spending extra money but he KNEW I needed it there. Very unhelpful, any issue I have they say "look online" and then end the conversation. Wish I had another local post office.

I called looking for a package that had been missing for a week. I was just trying to do some investigating. The guy who answered the phone was very rude and obnoxious. He offered no help in the matter and I am very disappointed with the service.

The Hammond location postal workers are awesome, especially Carlos :) The only way it could be better is if they gave me free shipping.....and that isnt gonna happen. And their Postmaster/leadership (Mr Richard P) is superb too.

I called them to asked them to hold a package they said they cant do it . It all depends on the carrier and they are the carrier clearly and people in my neighborhood will go in your mail box and steal
