Dittmer is the worse post office i have ever dealt with and i have family & friends that have worked for the United States Post Office in Missouri and they told me to call in on them to the main post office but no one answers the phone there . I have lived in Dittmer for 10 months and my mail has been late getting to me several times in 6 months and they have put other peoples mail in my mailbox after me telling them several times including leaving a note taped to my box of who lived in my house . My bills have been late several times and i have seen the po lady drive past my house knowing i had important mail . I have called and went into the post office telling the manager and asking her where my mail was and that it should of been here days ok & she was very rude and told me the mail lady already ran and that i had no mail when i did and they were to lazy to deliver it . I have called the PO 4 times since i have lived in Dittmer and the same manager gets a attitude every time i call her . I think they need to have secret shoppers go into the post office to see how they treat people and they need to have a po follow them on their routes . No wonder the post office is hiring like crazy because workers like in the Dittmer office needs to be replaced there are to many people out there that know how to treat people and that need a job and will do their job right . Dittmer Post Office does not even deserve 1 star much else 2 3 4 & 5 stars. I got a letter that was post marked on the 3rd of March and did not get it until March 13, 2016 i still wonder why it took 10 days to receive it after it was post marked for the 3rd

This is the absolute worse post office ever I followed my tracking number for a delivery from work. The day it was supposed to be delivered I had someone waiting at the house for the delivery and they mad no attempt to knock on the door. They just put the slip in my mailbox and left then would not give the package to anyone but me. This is aggravating especially when I had arranged to have someone at home to accept the delivery. No one at the post office knows what to say when I call they all just act surprised that I want the package delivered because I work 6 days a week and my only day off is Sunday

Our mail has been stolen for two months now. It started in April and continues to happen. We have had Birthday Card, ATT Phone bill, Checks to the people who mow the grass at church, etc. Lots of mail is being stolen. I was told there is a federal investigation going on currently, but it continues to happen all the time. I have been bringing my mail to town and mailing from a different post office, however if it is going to Dittmer, they did not get it. I have had to stop payments on checks and there are bank fees associated with doing that.

I use this Post Office every day, and have had wonderful results, they handle my packages very carefully, and always treat me with respect. I give a 5 stars because after 10 years of online business. I have only had to file one insurance claim. Thats amazing. Thank you Sarah Mitchell

Mail not delivered on time. Frequently delivered to wrong house. Mailboxes left open. Left a complaint no one acknowledged it.
