I am a college student studying Early Childhood Development before I started working here I told the owner that it is all about the kids to me and I made that very clear. I had a chance to work at Alphabet Soup and I will say do not bring your child to this daycare. Before I started working here I looked up the reviews on the daycare just to see if it would have been a good place I would like to work. I seen that the reviews were so/so. I applied and got the job. My first week everything went smooth at first the kids are great and so loving and sweet. My second week there a coworker told me to be careful who I talk to at the daycare because they will try to get you fired. Third week I had personal things going on in my life so as you know when you cry your eyes get red. I had one of the managers come up to me and ask me if I had been smoking weed at the daycare property which really hurt my feelings because if you know the type of person I am I would never do that especially around children. I had no idea why she would come up out of nowhere in there blue and ask me a question like that. Later on I was informed that the reason she had did that was because after my break I came back to the daycare and my eyes where red and they assumed I was doing drugs but the catcher part was that one of the employees told them that. I felt really offended. Fourth week one of the best employees who I could tell that was all about the kids had gotten fired. Fifth week I considered finding a new job because I noticed that the daycare was just a place for parents to bring their kids and I wanted to work at a place where it was more then just about bringing kids to daycare but actually building bonds and actually caring for the children. Sixth week I couldnt take it anymore because they where not about the kids I but my last week notice in at the end of Friday. PLEASE READ THIS IF ANYTHING ELSE: my last week working there one of the toddlers had gotten into a fight and one of the little boys nearly clawed this other little boys eye out and around his eye it was red but it had no scratches. We told the manager to call their parents just to let them know what happened and to keep an eye on it once they had gotten home but one of the managers told us that she is NOT going to call their parents basically because he had no scratches around his eye so it wasnt that serious. I want to say the full month that I had worked there I had never once seen the female owner Traci Pursifull come and check on the kids or just to help out until something was wrong or state was there. Now Mr. Jibe on the other hand is a really good owner every time he came to the Daycare he always checked on every room to see if every thing was in order or if we needed assistance he was a little harsh at times so/so attitude only for good reasons though but he does care for the kids and for the daycare! Miss Traci will be the downfall of her own daycare if she doesnt handle things right.

I have had children at this location and at their previous location (in baton rouge) for years. I have read the past reviews, and to be honest, I have no problem picking up my child (even if they are "just fine") if they suspect they are sick. I would never want my child to be the reason another baby got sick! Also 2 of the reviews argue each other! Do they send them home too much? Or are the babies sick? Like I said, send them home! As for the owner, heck yeah, if she suspects anyone of anything, ask away! Im not sure what that "worker" (I use that term in quotes because she was there all of 6 weeks?) meant by the owner not being there, bc like I said, Ive had my kids there (my oldest child is 18 & was in their first graduating class) for years (I still have kids there-ha!) and she is always there! Oh well, if anyone reads these things, do me a favor, go visit.....talk to the owner.....pop in a few times.....use your gut, not a strangers (mine or anyone elses) opinion!

All they do is call you and tell you you need to come pick up your child because they are sick. Then you take them to doctor and find out that they are just fine. The entire daycare is a scam because you are paying them to call you while you are at work to tell you to pick up your perfectly fine child because they dont want to watch them

Amazing facility. The workers care so dearly for my child and Ive never noticed any negativity from any of the staff. My child is happy and enjoys the facility.

During the six weeks my three-year-old granddaughter was enrolled there, she had strep throat two times, pinkeye and lice. We took her out.

Horrible place! The workers do not care for the children. Abusive & neglectful.
