Great place to send your kids, and I couldnt recommend it more...we are in the process of sending our second child through there. I have seen the other reviews listed, and none of them properly describe the Color Wheel Learning Center on Sherwood Forest Blvd. The teachers are great, the administrators are great, we DO NOT give out gift cards, and IF we do get a gift it is typically only for the current teachers in their room. Our Kindergartner was well prepared for the transition from Daycare/Preschool to Kindergarten...our Toddler has transitioned well from 1s, to 2s and now 3s. The facilities are very accommodating, and clean...I have never had an issue with any thing of that sort. We have visited, interviewed parents, and sent our kids to other preschools before finding Color Wheel...and there isnt another place in Baton Rouge that even compares. Its simply the best.

Tearchers are super lazy, no interaction with kids. Sitting and playing iPhone. They will open a small window in their room to monitor their supervisors/parents coming, then they will pretend to talk to kids.They dont clean toys completely such that our son get sick so often. They just dont care because more kids sent back home sick, less work they had. Need to call Department of Health and hospital to check this daycare. We pulled back our son three months later. Worst experience ever. Not recommend at all.

New facility, front administrators are nice, but teachers do expect gift cards EVERY HOLIDAY so badly. During holiday season, Rememer to prepare a 25-dollars(dont have to be too big) gift card then your kids will be loved. Make sure give to all 4 teachers in that room (two for the two teachers in younger classes and 2 for elder teachers). Otherwise, the teacher with no gift card could find an excuse to send your kids back home. For those if you dont mind your kid be treated unfairly, it is a fine place.

I am wondering how the daycare was licensed. Teachers are not professional at all, ignoring the kids all the time. They really dont care what the kids needs. No communication nor attention given to the kids. They are just watching the kids like watching cattle. Never send your kids there!
